Amazon Logistics tracking: where to look and what to do

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Amazon Logistics. It shows what Amazon Logistics’s own tracking publishes.

Amazon Logistics is Amazon's own delivery network: Amazon orders brought to your door by local and regional delivery partners working for Amazon. It has no public tracking page. You track the parcel in "Your Orders" on the Amazon site you ordered from, under Track package, which also shows the carrier name and the tracking number.

Amazon Logistics tracking number

Open Your Orders, pick the order and tap Track package, then see all updates. The carrier might be different for each package, and items in one order can have their own dates and tracking. Some packages, such as standard international deliveries, may not be trackable.

Amazon doesn't publish the format of its numbers. These are the shapes Peek recognises as Amazon Logistics:

Shape (invented)What it is
TBA000000000000TBA and 12 digits.
TBC000000000000TBC and 12 digits.
TBM000000000000TBM and 12 digits.
UK0000000000A European country code and 10 digits (UK, GB, IE, FR, DE and others).

The two letters don't prove where the parcel is.

Two lookalikes. An order number such as 000-0000000-0000000 is not a tracking number. And two other letters followed by 10 digits, such as US0000000000, aren't an Amazon Logistics shape: check which carrier Track package names. No number at all? See how to find your tracking number.

What Amazon's tracking statuses mean

Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ie show these four statuses in Your Orders:

Amazon's statusWhat it means for you
ArrivingThe parcel is on its way. It's usually followed by a date.
Out for deliveryIt should be delivered today.
DeliveredIt has been delivered. It might be in your safe place.
UndeliverableIt couldn't be delivered and is going back to Amazon. You're refunded automatically once Amazon receives it.

No update on the expected day is normal, says Amazon: depending on the carrier, items may ship the same day they're delivered. And Delivered can come early, since parcels may be scanned as delivered before they arrive. Nothing there? See below.

Amazon Logistics delivery: times, missed deliveries and lockers

In the UK and Ireland, Amazon Logistics delivers seven days a week, between 6am and 10pm. Drivers only ring the doorbell or contact you between 8am and 9pm. They leave the parcel in your mailbox if they can, otherwise in your preferred safe place or another secure location. Amazon's missing-package page tells you to look for the delivery photo.

When someone must be in, for an age check, a one-time password or a scheduled delivery, the driver may call or text you from a fixed number: +44 20 3322 2305 in the UK, +353 1 240 8761 in Ireland. Age-restricted items need photo ID and a signature, and are never left with a neighbour, in a safe place, a locker or a pickup point.

Missed delivery. Amazon emails you. Pick a new date with Track package in Your Orders, or "Request reschedule" when it's offered. Amazon tries for up to five days in a row. After the fifth attempt it holds the parcel for 72 hours: you can't pick it up at the delivery station, but you can ask for one more attempt. Then it goes back to Amazon and you're refunded.

Instructions. Add delivery instructions or an access code at checkout, in Your Account or with "Provide Delivery Instructions" on the Track page. You can also mark your address closed at weekends.

Send it to a pickup point. In the Amazon Shopping app, open the order in Your Orders and choose "Send to a nearby pickup point". Eligible parcels only, before they reach the delivery station, and not again from a pickup point.

Lockers and Counters. Open an Amazon Locker with the 6-digit pickup code or barcode from the delivery email or Track package. Lockers without a screen need the Amazon Shopping app with Bluetooth and location on. To let someone else collect, forward them the email. Counters use a pickup code from the same places. Amazon.co.uk keeps parcels 3 calendar days at a Locker, 7 at a Counter, 14 at an Amazon Fresh store and 18 at a Royal Mail Counter. Uncollected parcels go back to Amazon.

Amazon Logistics parcel not received or late

Late. Most late parcels arrive within 48 hours of the estimated date, and a shipped order can't be cancelled. After 48 hours, contact Amazon Customer Service within 30 days of the estimated date for orders shipped by Amazon, or the seller if a third-party seller shipped and sold it. A guaranteed-delivery fee is refunded via Problem with an order in Your Orders. Tracking stuck? See tracking that isn't updating.

Marked delivered, not received. Check the address, attempt notices in your Message Centre, the mailbox, the delivery photo, your safe place, your household and neighbours. Wait 48 hours. Then contact Customer Service within 30 days of the expected delivery, or the seller for orders shipped and sold by a third party. More in delivered but not received.

Lost in transit. Amazon may send a replacement automatically and email you. You can refuse it or return it for a refund; if both parcels arrive, return the extra one free.

Undeliverable. A wrong address, failed attempts, a refusal, an illegible label, damage or a dog can send it back. Amazon.co.uk refunds within five business days. It can't resend the order: place a new one.

Marketplace sellers. Contact the seller first. With no satisfying answer within 48 hours, you can turn to the A-to-z Guarantee.

Another shop's parcel. If Amazon carried a parcel for another retailer (Amazon Shipping, tracked at track.amazon.co.uk), Amazon Shipping's support says to contact the sender about a lost or damaged parcel.

Amazon Logistics contact number and customer service

Amazon Logistics has no customer line of its own: Amazon Customer Service handles every question about parcels its delivery partners carry. Read on 11 October 2026:

  • Amazon Customer Service, reached from the Customer Service page after signing in, offers phone, chat, email and self-service, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Amazon prints no public phone number for it on these pages.
  • The driver numbers above are the ones drivers call or text you from.
  • A road incident with a delivery driver: make yourself safe, call 999, then contact Amazon and ask for an agent by phone.

Amazon Logistics tracking in Peek

Peek can't track or save an Amazon Logistics parcel: Amazon shows its status, history and photo only in your account. Paste one of these numbers, or a track.amazon link, and Peek first checks Amazon's public Amazon Shipping tracker. If Amazon answers, Amazon carried the parcel for another shop, and Peek tracks it: "Public tracking is available with Amazon Shipping. Peek will keep this delivery up to date." If Amazon no longer gives its history, it can stay as a reference.

Otherwise Peek says "Amazon Logistics deliveries are usually tracked in Your Orders on Amazon." and offers "Open my Amazon orders", which opens the order history on the site the number points to: amazon.co.uk for UK and GB, amazon.ie for IE, amazon.com for TBA. If the check can't run, tap "Check again". An order number gets "That looks like an Amazon order number".

Questions about Amazon Logistics

What is Amazon Logistics?

It's Amazon's own delivery service, run with local and regional delivery partners. Amazon adds it to large national carriers to give more room for Prime next-day delivery.

Is Amazon Logistics legit?

Yes, it's how Amazon delivers its own orders, and the parcel shows in Your Orders. An unexpected delivery text from an unknown number is another matter: Amazon says it's not from Amazon.

How long does Amazon Logistics take to deliver?

Amazon gives the date in Your Orders, where Arriving is followed by it. In the UK and Ireland it delivers seven days a week, and most late parcels arrive within 48 hours of the estimated date.

Is Amazon Logistics the same as Amazon?

Yes for you as a customer: the drivers work for Amazon's delivery partners, but Amazon Customer Service handles every question about the parcel. Parcels Amazon carries for other shops are Amazon Shipping, with their own tracking at track.amazon.co.uk.
