Asendia tracking: statuses, delivery and who to contact

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Asendia. It shows what Asendia’s own tracking publishes.

Asendia, owned by La Poste and Swiss Post, carries online orders across borders for shops. It doesn't bring the parcel to your door: it gets it from the shop's warehouse abroad to your country, where a delivery company you probably know takes over. Track it with the number from the shop's shipping email, on Asendia's tracking site or, for Asendia USA, on A1 tracking.

Asendia tracking number: where to find it

The number comes from the shop, in its shipping confirmation email or text. Asendia publishes no format, length or example. Not every parcel has one: Asendia says some shops choose untracked postal services to keep costs low, and if the service is tracked, it asks you to get the number from the shop.

The shapes known as Asendia's, with invented digits:

NumberWhose it is
ASE1234567890ASE, then 8 to 37 letters and digits: Asendia.
AS123456789USAS, 9 digits, US: Asendia.
AHOY12345678AHOY, then 8 letters and digits: Asendia.
RR123456785CHAn international postal number: the post that issued it, here Swiss Post.
LA123456785FRThe same for France: La Poste / Colissimo.
EEUS000000000US0An eBay International Shipping reference: no carrier from the number alone.

Many Asendia parcels travel under the delivering post's international number: two letters, nine digits and two letters, where the last two name the post (CH Swiss Post, FR La Poste, GB Royal Mail). Careful: AS…US is Asendia, but AS…CH is a Swiss Post number. If a number doesn't work, Asendia asks you to make sure you are on its own tracking site. More in tracking number formats.

Asendia tracking statuses: what they mean

Asendia USA's A1 tracker writes its scans in English only, and relays the delivery partner's scans in that partner's words. The most common, in the order a parcel meets them:

Asendia saysWhat it means for you
Shipment Information ReceivedThe shop has sent Asendia the parcel's details; nothing has moved yet.
Label createdThe shop has printed the label.
Manifest to Asendia createdThe shop has listed the parcel for handover; Asendia hasn't processed it yet.
Check-in Asendia facilityFirst arrival scan at an Asendia hub.
Processed by AsendiaAsendia has the parcel in hand.
Sorted by AsendiaSorted for its route abroad.
Dispatched by AsendiaLeft Asendia for the international leg.
Pre-Shipment, USPS Awaiting ItemA USPS scan: USPS has the details and is waiting for the parcel.
Arrived at USPS Regional FacilityThe US delivery partner has it.
airline misroute – under investigation with airlineThe flight took it the wrong way; the airline is looking into it.

The global site, track.asendia.com, shows broader milestones: Information Received, Handed to Asendia, Departed from Asendia, Arrived at Destination, Customs, In delivery and Delivered. Exception flags a problem, and Pending means nothing is known yet.

Two things confuse people. It may appear in a city or country you didn't expect: Asendia says its parcels are routed through transit centres in many countries. And a status that stays the same for days doesn't mean the parcel has stopped: Asendia says there can be several days between scans in transit.

Asendia delivery failed: missed parcels and pickup points

The delivery company in your country makes the attempts, not Asendia, and the tracking shows which one it is. Asendia names Swiss Post for Switzerland and Colissimo or Chronopost for France; for the UK, Germany and the US it names no partner on its pages.

Asendia says most of its partners make two or three attempts and leave a card each time, physical or electronic, telling you how to rearrange delivery or collect the parcel from a local post office where available. Some Asendia services let you reschedule; if not, the partner tries again or leaves the parcel at the nearest post office or pickup point. Asendia USA says that second attempt comes the next business day. Some partners offer to change the address after a first failed attempt.

How long the parcel waits is the partner's rule. Swiss Post usually keeps international consignments for 15 days; La Poste keeps a Colissimo parcel for 15 calendar days from the day after the notice, then returns it. Asendia has no lockers or pickup points of its own. Parcels nobody collects go back, by a process that depends on the country.

Asendia parcel not moving, missing or not delivered

No update. Asendia says to track it first: it may be with you soon. See why tracking stops updating.

With the local carrier. You may get more information from the delivery company directly. If it can't help, or the tracking shows the parcel is still with Asendia, Asendia asks you to contact the shop.

Lost, damaged or very late. Contact the shop you bought from. Asendia says the shop will contact it to make a claim if needed. Asendia publishes no claim deadline for recipients.

Marked delivered but not there. Asendia's FAQ says to contact the shop's customer service if you dispute the delivery.

Customs. Asendia says the customs broker, usually the post or courier delivering the parcel, may ask you to pay before or on delivery, and that parcels are returned if fees are not paid swiftly. What applies where is in parcels held at customs.

Asendia customer service and contact number

As read on 12 October 2026, Asendia publishes no phone number, email or hours for shoppers. Its channel is the "Ask Asendia" virtual assistant on its shopper support page: open it, type "contact" and fill in the short form. Asendia's order: track the parcel, then ask the delivery company named in the tracking, then the shop.

  • UK and Ireland: asendia.co.uk's contact page sends shoppers to the same support page. Written post goes to Asendia UK Head Office, Unit 8-12 The Heathrow Estate, Silver Jubilee Way, Hounslow, TW4 6NF.
  • US: asendiausa.com's shopper support page gives the same advice and links A1 tracking.

Asendia deals with shops, not shoppers, so the shop is usually the one who can act. On fraud, Asendia says it sends emails only from @asendia.com addresses and never asks for passwords or sends payment links by email.

Tracking an Asendia parcel with Peek

Peek names Asendia straight away for ASE, AS…US and AHOY numbers. You can also paste a link from track.asendia.com or from A1 tracking. A postal number goes to the post that issued it; if the shop calls it Asendia's, or gives a reference that names no carrier, choose Asendia with "Change".

It reads Asendia USA's A1 tracker only. track.asendia.com, which Asendia's European companies use, is not read, so Asendia itself often gives no answer for a European number and Peek relies on universal tracking services instead. Older numbers can drop out of A1 too.

When A1 answers, you see the status, the history with town, region and country, the weight, the destination country and the delivery company with its own number. It shows no expected delivery date, and leaves out addresses, postcodes and order references, as well as any scan without a time zone. When the delivery company is one Peek tracks, such as USPS, Swiss Post or La Poste, the parcel can be followed there; its page then says "Delivery with" that carrier. It checks every 10 minutes, every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery, shows each scan on a map and can notify you of every scan, important steps only or "Delivery day only". It can't contact Asendia or the shop for you.

Questions about Asendia tracking

Where is my Asendia package?

The latest scan gives its stage. Once it reaches your country, a delivery company there has it: the tracking names which one, and Asendia says you may find out more from that company directly.

Is Asendia legit?

Yes. Asendia is a parcel and mail company owned by La Poste and Swiss Post, shipping to over 220 countries and territories with offices in 17 countries. Its emails come from @asendia.com addresses.

How long does Asendia take to deliver?

Asendia gives shoppers no delivery time and points you to the shop's shipping email. What it tells shops is not a promise to you: delivery within 24 to 48 hours of reaching its entry points in France, or an aim of 4 to 9 days intercontinental to Switzerland.

Does Asendia have a customer service phone number?

Not for shoppers. Use the "Ask Asendia" virtual assistant on its support page, the delivery company in the tracking or the shop.
