Helthjem tracking: statuses, pickup points and contact

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Helthjem. It shows what Helthjem’s own tracking publishes.

Helthjem is a Norwegian network that brings online shops' parcels to your mailbox or doormat, mostly overnight, or to a pickup point. Track yours on helthjem.no/sporing with the number from the shop's shipping email, or paste it in the box above. Helthjem's tracking is in Norwegian only, so the statuses are translated below.

Where to find your Helthjem tracking number

The shop gives you the tracking number and a tracking link, usually in its shipping email. Helthjem often emails you too, as "Pakken din fra XX er på vei" (your parcel from XX is on its way); parcels ordered from abroad don't get that email. Nothing came? Ask the shop, and see how to find your tracking number. The pickup code (hentekode) you get when a parcel waits at a pickup point isn't the tracking number.

Helthjem publishes no number format. The numbers its tracking answers for look like this (digits invented):

NumberWhose it is
370724760000000000Helthjem: 18 digits starting 37072476.
00370724760000000000The same with 00 in front, as under a barcode: 20 digits.
370000000000000004Bring: its own 18-digit numbers also start 370 or 373.
RR123456785NOBring: postal numbers ending NO.

Helthjem's numbers look just like Bring's 370 range; only Helthjem's own tracking settles it. If helthjem.no answers Vi finner ingen pakke med dette sporingsnummeret. (no parcel with this tracking number), check the digits, then try Bring or ask the shop which carrier it booked.

Helthjem tracking statuses in English

The tracking page shows a headline status, a four-step bar (Registrert, På vei, Til levering, Levert), the shop the parcel comes from and, behind "Vis alle statuser", the full history. All in Norwegian Bokmål. In the order a parcel meets them:

StatusWhat it means for you
Nettbutikken har meldt at en pakke er på vei!The shop has announced a parcel. Helthjem doesn't have it yet.
Pakken er under transport. In transit: a terminal or sorter scan.
Vi har mottatt pakken din, og gjør den klar for veien videre.Received at a Helthjem terminal, getting ready for the next leg.
Planlagt levering natt til 8. oktober!Out for delivery in the night leading into the date shown.
Pakken er levert på dørmatten din!Delivered on your doormat.
Pakken er levert i postkassen din!Delivered in your mailbox.
På vei til hentestedSent on to a pickup point instead of your home.
Klar til hentingReady for pickup at the point named.
Pakken er hentetPicked up at the pickup point.
Pakke ikke hentetNot picked up in time: it goes back to the shop.
ReturneresBeing returned to the shop, or already back.

The place looks wrong. It's the terminal that last handled the parcel, such as Vestby, often far from you. The parcel still comes to your address.

When Helthjem delivers, pickup points and missed parcels

When it comes. At night, Monday to Saturday in large parts of Norway: on most routes before breakfast, by 7 am on Helthjem's English page, though some areas get daytime delivery. Once a parcel reaches Helthjem's terminals, most arrive within 2 to 5 days depending on where you live; parcels from abroad can take longer because of customs. Around 6 am after a drop-off, Helthjem texts you if it has your mobile number.

Where it's left. In your mailbox or on your doormat, without a signature. A parcel too big for the mailbox may hang there in a bag (Levert i pose ved postkassen) when your door is over 250 m away. Most drop-offs are photographed; log in on the tracking page to see the photo, deleted after 30 days.

Courier couldn't find you. You get an SMS or email asking where you live, and the courier tries again the next night. No answer by 21:00 and the parcel goes to the nearest pickup point.

Pickup points (hentested). About 2,800 in Norway, Helthjem's own and PostNord's. A parcel goes there when the shop offers only that, or when it's too valuable, big or heavy, the address isn't covered or the spot isn't safe. A pickup code comes by email or SMS when it's ready, with a note if you need ID (the sender decides). Anyone with the code can collect it unless ID is required.

How long it waits. 7 days. An SMS three days after the first notice has a link to extend it once, free, by 7 more. After a reminder it goes back to the sender, who pays for the return, and the shop may charge you.

Changing plans. The pickup point can't be changed once the parcel reaches Helthjem's terminal. If you'll be away or the address is wrong, customer service can send a shipped parcel to a pickup point, though not every one (some from outside Europe); before it ships, ask the shop.

Returns. Book the return with the shop, write its code on the parcel and leave it on your doormat or in your mailbox for Helthjem to collect.

Helthjem parcel late, missing or damaged

The shop holds the contract with Helthjem, and Helthjem's terms send recipients to the shop.

No update. A parcel can go a couple of days without a scan, sometimes a week. Contact customer service if nothing has changed for more than 7 days. See tracking that isn't updating.

Delivered but not there. Check the mailbox, the doormat, neighbours' doormats and other floors in a block of flats, mailbox racks and the people you live with. Still missing after a day? Contact customer service, and see delivered but not received. The same if tracking shows it both collected and not collected.

Lost, damaged or late. Claim from the shop; the shop claims from Helthjem within four weeks of the parcel leaving the sender. Helthjem pays nothing for delays beyond normal transit time.

Tracking a Helthjem parcel with Peek

Peek can't tell Helthjem's numbers from Bring's by shape, and can't ask Bring. For 18 digits starting 37072476, or the 20-digit form, it asks Helthjem and the other likely carriers at once (bpost, or Swiss Post Cargo, PostNord and NZ Post for 20 digits). When only Helthjem knows it, you see "Helthjem has this parcel."; otherwise pick with "Change". Helthjem's 17-digit shipment numbers and its other 20-digit barcodes need "Change" or a helthjem.no tracking link, which works with any number.

Peek shows the status, each scan's place on a map (including sorter scans Helthjem's page hides), the time it was delivered, the shop that sent it and the pickup point's name while it waits or once collected. Statuses stay in Helthjem's Norwegian, and scan times match Helthjem's. Peek leaves out the expected day Helthjem's page shows, the point's address, the photo and postcodes.

When Helthjem marks a parcel as one PostNord delivers, Peek can follow it to PostNord under its shipment number. Peek checks every 10 minutes, every 2 on the last mile, and can notify you when the status changes. It can't contact Helthjem for you.
