GEODIS Poland tracking: shipment number, statuses, delivery
GEODIS Poland is the Polish pallet and parcel network of GEODIS, the French transport group owned by SNCF. GEODIS bought PEKAES in 2021, and the network is now run by GEODIS Road Network, based in Błonie. Track a shipment on its tracker, Strefa Klienta, with the number made of PL and 16 digits, or paste it in the box above. The shop or sender gives you the number, most often in the order confirmation or shipping email.
GEODIS Poland tracking number: format and where to find it
GEODIS works for businesses only, so the number is with whoever sent you something by GEODIS, usually a shop or a manufacturer: if you don't have it, ask the sender. Still nothing? See how to find your tracking number.
| Number (invented) | What it is |
|---|---|
PL0000000000000000 | PL and 16 digits: a GEODIS Poland shipment number, the one its tracker calls "Shipment No.". |
1G0000000000 | 1G and 10 capital letters or digits: a number from GEODIS in France, tracked on GEODIS's French recipient space, not on Strefa Klienta. |
If the tracker answers Shipment with such number does not exist, it doesn't know the number: contact the shop or sender, as GEODIS advises when a number doesn't work. A reply in Polish, Proszę wprowadzić właściwy numer przesyłki., asks for a valid shipment number: look for a typo.
What GEODIS Poland's tracking statuses mean
Strefa Klienta comes in Polish and English. A search first shows a summary: the status, the delivery country, the terminals, dates, the items and the delivery postcode and town. Its "Details" link opens the scans, each with a time and the terminal's place. The English page's wordings, in the order a shipment usually meets them:
| GEODIS says | What it means for you |
|---|---|
Received from the sender | GEODIS has picked up the shipment from the sender. |
Inbound Scan From Driver to Terminal | The collecting driver has brought it into the local terminal. |
Outbound Scan from (Collection) Terminal to Line-haul | It left that terminal on a truck bound for the terminal that serves your address. |
Inbound Scan from Line-haul to (Delivery) Terminal | It reached the terminal that will deliver it. |
Awaiting Delivery | It's waiting at that terminal for a delivery round. |
Outbound for Delivery | It's on the delivery truck. |
Consignee Absent | The driver didn't find you in. |
Failed delivery (SMS) | A delivery attempt failed, confirmed by text message. |
Awaiting designation of new delivery date | GEODIS is waiting for a new delivery date to be set. |
Awaiting Decision | GEODIS is waiting for the sender's instructions. |
Delivery Refusal | The recipient refused the shipment. |
Request for Return | GEODIS has an instruction to return it: it's on its way back to the sender, not there yet. |
Delivered | Delivered. Delivered (SMS) is the same, confirmed by text message. |
Claim Received | A claim has been filed. It's only a record; the shipment doesn't move. |
A few scans flag a hold-up: Stopped at Hub and Stopped at Collection Terminal (the shipment is held at a sorting hub or at the first terminal), Not Dispatched (it missed its planned truck or round but is still in the network) and Failure. A row starting Pseudoscan cancels the delivery, return and claim scans before it. The Polish page shows the same steps in Polish, such as wydanie do dostawy for out for delivery and doręczone for delivered. More on stages in tracking statuses.
GEODIS delivery in Poland: home delivery, notice and pickup
GEODIS's general terms, in force since 4 November 2024, set how deliveries work. They bind the client, the business that booked the transport (usually the shop), and give most of their delivery rules for pallet (groupage) shipments:
- Missed delivery. If you're out, the driver leaves word of the attempt. After a second failed attempt the shipment goes back to the sender; it also goes back if you refuse it or the sender gave a wrong address. See missed delivery and returned to sender.
- Pallets to a private address. GEODIS delivers these on working days only, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00. The client has to give your mobile number: GEODIS sends delivery updates to it and arranges the delivery beforehand by phone, text or email, calling at the latest on the day it can deliver. If it can't reach you within two working days, it contacts the client and sends the shipment back to the sender.
- Unloading. The driver unloads a pallet shipment for a private address at ground level, or at the nearest safe, paved spot if the truck can't safely stop there. Carry-in ("wniesienie"), a set hour and delivery by 10:00 or 12:00 (some postcodes only) are separate services the client can order.
- Terminal pickup. When the client asks for you to collect it from a GEODIS terminal, the shipment waits 48 hours, counted in working days from that instruction. You collect it Monday to Friday, 11:00 to 16:00; after that it goes back to the sender.
- Cash on delivery. You can pay cash, or by card, BLIK or another cashless method GEODIS accepts, up to 10,000 PLN.
- Signing. You sign on the driver's device or the delivery documents. GEODIS's terms say you can't check the contents before you sign, so look the packaging over and note any damage or shortage on the documents then.
GEODIS Poland shipment late, damaged or not delivered
Not updating. If the scans stop for days, see tracking that isn't updating and ask the shop.
Late. Poland's consumer authority, UOKiK, says a seller must deliver promptly and within 30 days of the purchase unless you agreed otherwise. After that you can give the seller extra time, and if the goods still don't come, withdraw from the contract.
Damaged or missing items. Write a damage report ("protokół szkody") with the driver at delivery, on GEODIS's form, signed by you both. Report hidden damage or shortage to GEODIS within 7 days of receipt; whoever claims must prove it happened before delivery. Keep the goods for GEODIS to inspect and take photos showing the date and time. GEODIS's claim form warns that a damage report alone isn't a claim. See damaged parcel.
Who claims. In GEODIS's terms, claims come from the client or someone it authorises in writing. They go in writing to the claims department in Błonie, promptly: within 14 days of receipt for damage or shortage, and within 21 days of the planned delivery day for delay or loss. As a buyer, you deal with the shop: UOKiK says the seller is responsible for the parcel until you receive it, even when the carrier caused the damage, so you complain to the seller, who claims from the carrier.

Tracking a GEODIS Poland parcel with Peek
PL and 16 digits isn't a shape GEODIS owns (PL stands for Poland), so Peek can't tell GEODIS Poland by the number alone. Paste it all the same: Peek follows more than 3,500 carriers. It asks GEODIS Poland whether it knows the number and shows "GEODIS Poland has this parcel." when it does. If GEODIS doesn't list it yet, the parcel reads "Probably GEODIS Poland" and "Waiting for GEODIS Poland’s first scan" while Peek keeps asking. To set the carrier yourself, press "Change" on the carrier line and pick "GEODIS Poland" under "Fits this number", or search for it; typing Pekaes finds it too. "GEODIS" alone is GEODIS France. On a parcel you've already added, use "Change carrier".
Peek reads Strefa Klienta in English and shows the status, each scan in GEODIS's English wording with the terminal's place, the delivery time and the destination country. Scans at Polish terminals are read on Warsaw time; a terminal abroad keeps its own clock. When a Pseudoscan row cancels earlier scans, Peek drops them too, and Claim Received leaves the status as it was. GEODIS's tracker gives no expected delivery date, weight, service name, recipient name or proof of delivery. Peek leaves out the delivery postcode and address, the item count, the terminals' codes and the remarks, which can name who signed.
Peek checks every 10 minutes by day, every 2 once the shipment is out for delivery, and every hour or two overnight. It can notify you of every scan, important steps or the delivery day only. It can't set a delivery date, arrange a pickup or file a claim: call GEODIS or ask the shop.
Questions about GEODIS Poland tracking
Is GEODIS Poland the same as Pekaes?
Yes. GEODIS bought PEKAES in 2021, and the network is now run by GEODIS Road Network. Its tracker still lives at strefaklienta.pekaes.geodis.pl.
Does GEODIS deliver on Saturdays in Poland?
GEODIS's terms don't mention Saturday deliveries. They set pallet deliveries to private addresses on working days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:00, and count parcel delivery times without Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Will the GEODIS driver carry my order inside?
Only a pallet shipment, and only if the client ordered carry-in: up to 300 kg, no more than 150 m from where the truck unloads, and up to the second storey without a lift. Otherwise the driver unloads at ground level at your address.
How long does GEODIS take to deliver in Poland?
GEODIS quotes 24 to 48 hours within Poland as standard, or next day before noon by express. Its terms give parcels up to 30 kg 48 hours from pickup, not counting weekends and public holidays, and pallets 2 working days, both "as a rule".
