Packeta tracking: Z numbers, statuses and pickup points
Packeta is the group brand behind Zásilkovna, its Czech name, and ships to 33 countries. Track a parcel on Packeta's tracking page, in the Packeta app or in the box above. The number is a Z and ten digits, found in Packeta's email, its SMS or the app.
Packeta tracking number: the Z code
Packeta's tracking page accepts one shape: Z followed by 10 digits.
| Shape (invented) | What it is |
|---|---|
Z1234567890 | A Packeta tracking number. |
1234567890 | The ten digits without the Z: the shape also fits DHL, Relais Colis and others, so add the Z. |
Z123456789 | Nine digits: not Packeta (Australia Post's shape). |
Z12345678901 | Eleven digits: not Packeta (Colis Privé's shape). |
The pick-up code is different: Packeta sends it by SMS and email once the parcel reaches your point, and you need it to pick the parcel up, not to track it. No Z number in the shop's email? Ask the shop. More in how to find a tracking number.
Packeta tracking statuses explained
These are Packeta's English step sentences, in the order a parcel meets them; "…" marks a fragment of a longer sentence.
| Packeta's status | What it means for you |
|---|---|
We are aware of your parcel and are waiting for the sender… | The shop has registered the parcel but hasn't handed it over yet. |
…assigned a tracking number… | The label exists. Nothing has moved. |
…successfully received the parcel for transport… | Packeta has the parcel. |
The parcel is currently on its way to the depot. | On the road to a sorting depot. |
…arrived at the depot… | Being sorted at a depot. |
The parcel has been handed over to the carrier… | Passed to the company that delivers it, often a partner carrier abroad. |
…on its way to you… | Out for delivery. |
The parcel is ready for pickup… | Waiting at the pickup point or Z-BOX. Use your pick-up code. |
Last day to pick up your parcel. | Today is the last day. Tomorrow it goes back to the sender. |
The package has been delivered | Picked up or delivered. |
…investigating the status of the parcel… | Something went wrong and Packeta is looking into it. |
Return (on the way back) | On its way back to the sender. |
The parcel has been handed over to the carrier… means another company now has it: Packeta's own drivers deliver only in Czechia and Slovakia, partner carriers elsewhere. On the last day the page may also say Your parcel will wait for you only today!, with a button to extend storage. A finished return reads We have returned the parcel back to the sender. or Returned to sender.
Parcel not found means Packeta doesn't know the number, or no longer shows an old one. Check the Z and ten digits.
Packeta pickup points, Z-BOX and home delivery
Packeta says you have 7 days to pick a parcel up, with the code from the SMS or email, and can extend storage twice for free. In Czechia that makes 7 + 7 + 7, so 21 days at most, and an ID with your name works instead of the code. In Poland, an SMS to Packeta extends it to 21 days for free. Extend on the tracking page or in the app; storage may be shorter at Christmas. Someone else can pick it up with your code.
Z-BOX lockers (Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania) open 24/7 with the app over Bluetooth. In Czechia a parcel waits 2 calendar days, plus 1 if extended.
Home delivery. In Czechia and Slovakia Packeta's drivers send a window of about 90 minutes; if they miss you, the parcel can go to the nearest pickup point. Elsewhere partner carriers deliver.
Not picked up? In Czechia it goes back to the sender automatically. Packeta's pages don't say how many delivery attempts it makes or whether it delivers at weekends.
Packeta parcel not moving, damaged or returned
No update for days. Packeta gives no advice here; ask the shop, which booked the shipment. See tracking that isn't updating.
Not received. The sender files the claim, within 20 calendar days of handing the parcel over under Packeta's terms, so contact the shop. Delivered but missing? Read delivered but not received.
Damaged. Claim yourself on claims.packeta.com/en ("I am the recipient") within five working days of receipt; Packeta answers within 30 days. Pickup points don't take claims. In Poland, Packeta sends recipients to the shop.
Returned. Ask the shop to resend or refund.

Tracking Packeta parcels with Peek
Peek recognises a Z and ten digits as Packeta at once. Without the Z, it asks other carriers such as Relais Colis; pick Packeta with "Change". Links from tracking.packeta.com work, and packeta.com links with id=; zasilkovna.cz links only with the Z number inside. No postcode needed.
Peek reads Packeta in English and shows its sentences as written (Returned to sender in Peek's words): the status, the newest 20 scans, the shop that sent it, the delivery time and the pickup point or Z-BOX address when the parcel heads there (none for home delivery or returns). It drops your name, address, phone and signature.
Packeta gives no scan places, so nothing lands on the map, and no expected delivery. Times are Prague time (Romanian depot scans may be an hour off). Peek doesn't follow a partner carrier. It checks every 10 minutes, every 2 once out for delivery, and can notify you of changes.
Questions about Packeta tracking
Where is my Packeta parcel?
The latest tracking line tells you: …on its way to you… is out for delivery, The parcel is ready for pickup… means it waits at your point.
Is Packeta legit?
Yes, it's a real carrier: the group brand behind Zásilkovna, shipping to 33 countries. Real Zásilkovna texts show "Zásilkovna" as sender.
Is Packeta the same as Foxpost?
Not quite: Packeta's Polish site says FOXPOST is joining Packeta, but Packeta's tracking page asks for a Z number.
Is Packeta in Poland?
Yes, as Packeta Poland, with its own phone line and pickup points; Z-BOX lockers aren't listed there.
