"GOFO France tracking: statuses, delivery and contact"

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not GOFO France. It shows what GOFO France’s own tracking publishes.

GOFO France is a last-mile delivery company that brings online orders to homes across France for e-commerce platforms, marketplaces and shops; since 2025 it includes the former CIRRO Parcel. Track one with its number starting GFFR or CIFR on GOFO's tracking page, which takes several numbers at once. The number comes from the shop: look in the order confirmation or shipping email.

GOFO tracking number: what it looks like and where to find it

GOFO says its number starts with CIFR or GFFR, followed by 13 or 14 digits, with no special characters:

ShapeInvented example
GFFR and 13 digitsGFFR1234567890123
GFFR and 14 digitsGFFR12345678901234
CIFR and 13 digitsCIFR1234567890123
CIFR and 14 digitsCIFR12345678901234

The sender gives you the number. For an online order, GOFO points you to the order confirmation email or the shipping notification; if neither has it, ask the shop. GOFO's tracking page labels two numbers, Waybill Number and Tracking Number. If GOFO's tracking says your number is invalid, GOFO asks you to contact the shop that sent it.

GOFO works in several countries, and the letters after GF or CI name the country. GFIT or CIIT numbers belong to GOFO Italy, and GFUS with 14 digits to GOFO Express in the United States, a separate network. A number of GF and only 13 digits is a US one too. Numbers from GOFO's other countries, such as GFNL (Netherlands) or GFES (Spain), aren't GOFO France ones either. More on telling shapes apart: tracking number formats.

GOFO tracking statuses: what the French words mean

GOFO's site has a French and an English version, and each shows the scans in its own language. The wordings below are the French ones, the ones you'll see in Peek whatever your language, in the order a parcel meets them:

GOFO's wordsWhat it means for you
Votre colis est en cours de préparation par l'expéditeurThe shop has made the label; GOFO doesn't have the parcel yet.
Votre colis a été pris en charge au centre de triScanned at a GOFO sorting centre.
Colis en cours d'acheminementMoving between GOFO sites.
Votre colis est arrivé à l’agence régionale GOFO de destinationAt the local GOFO depot that will deliver it.
Le chauffeur est en route pour la livraisonOut with the driver.
Échec de la livraison, motif : Le destinataire n'est pas chez luiNot delivered because you were out.
LivréDelivered.
AlerteA problem GOFO has flagged.
RetournéOn its way back, or back, to the sender.

The first status trips people up: GOFO adds that the parcel "will be handed over to us soon", so nothing moves until the shop gives it to GOFO. Votre colis est arrivé à l’agence régionale GOFO de destination is the English site's Arrived at GOFO Regional Destination Facility: a depot, not a place to pick up your parcel. After a failed attempt, GOFO's scan says a new attempt will be scheduled from the next day.

On GOFO's own page, Livré usually comes with where the parcel was left, such as in the letterbox, and whether a PIN code was used. Alerte and Retourné are GOFO's categories rather than scan sentences; a failed attempt with a reason other than "not home" is listed as Alerte.

GOFO delivery: missed parcels and collection points

GOFO delivers to your address. If you're out, the driver may leave the parcel in your letterbox or with a neighbour; to avoid that, GOFO asks you to tell it in advance. It tries up to three times. After that the parcel goes back to its warehouse and waits 14 days, during which you can contact GOFO to arrange delivery. With no answer, it returns to the sender.

GOFO doesn't let you change the delivery date or send the parcel to a pickup point. To change the address, use the form GOFO emails from [email protected]. If the form never arrived or has expired, contact GOFO quickly: once the parcel is with the driver, the address can't change. GOFO has no return service either; to send something back, contact the shop.

GOFO gives no exact delivery time, which depends on volume, weather and traffic. Its FAQ says parcels are generally delivered 3 to 5 working days after they arrive in France.

GOFO parcel not delivered, lost or damaged

No update. Parcels from outside the EU aren't registered at GOFO's warehouse until customs clearance is finished, so the tracking can sit still for a while. If the status hasn't changed for more than 5 working days in France or the EU, GOFO asks you to contact it. See also why tracking stops updating.

Marked Livré but not there. GOFO says to check the proof of delivery on its tracking page first: it usually says where the parcel was left and may include a photo. To see it, the page asks for the last 6 digits of the recipient's phone number. Then check your letterbox, shared mail area, caretaker or reception and your neighbours, and contact GOFO as soon as possible. Photos of the outside of your home and its entrance help but are optional. More in delivered but not received.

Lost, items missing or damaged inside. GOFO sends you to the sender: the shop handles the claim. If the outer packaging is damaged, GOFO's French and English pages differ on whether to write to GOFO or the shop, so tell both. GOFO France publishes no claim deadline, form or compensation.

Disputed "not home" or a driver problem. Send your remarks to GOFO's customer service.

GOFO France customer service phone number and email

As listed on GOFO France's contact page on 12 October 2026:

  • Recipient hotline for delivery problems and tracking: +33 9 70 70 90 65, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 18:00, except public holidays. GOFO doesn't state the cost of the call.
  • Email: [email protected].

GOFO suggests phoning at calmer times and emailing when the line is busy. Its tracking page also mentions 24/7 support, but the phone line keeps the hours above. GOFO lists no chat and no postal address for recipients. Keep your GFFR or CIFR number at hand.

Tracking a GOFO France parcel with Peek

Peek recognises GFFR and CIFR numbers by themselves. You can also paste a link from GOFO's French site (gofo.com/fr or gofoexpress.fr, with id= and the number). A shop's reference of PK and 20 digits, sometimes written PK-1234567890123456789-0 (invented), works too: Peek asks GOFO France about it and names it once GOFO knows the number.

Peek reads GOFO's French tracking every 10 minutes, and every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery. It shows the status, the history with the place GOFO names for each scan, the service name (often CIRRO Parcel) and the delivery time, each scan on a map, and it can notify you of every scan, important steps only or delivery day only. Scans appear in GOFO's French words, and a delivery shows as Livré in every language. Peek shows no expected delivery date, no pickup point and no weight, and it leaves out delivery photos and GOFO's notices. If GOFO hasn't answered with a scan yet, Peek keeps asking rather than calling the number unknown. It can't contact GOFO or the shop for you.

Questions about GOFO tracking

How long does GOFO take to deliver?

GOFO says parcels are generally delivered 3 to 5 working days after they arrive in France. It gives no exact time of day.

Is GOFO legit?

Yes. GOFO FRANCE is a registered French company (SAS, RCS Pontoise 978 559 839) based in Marly-la-Ville, with sorting hubs in Lyon and Bonneuil in Île-de-France.

Is GOFO the same as CIRRO Parcel?

Yes, now. GOFO Express bought CIRRO Parcel, CIRRO's last-mile arm in France, the Netherlands and Italy, in 2025 and the two now work under the GOFO name, though its tracking still shows CIRRO Parcel as the service.

Does GOFO have collection points?

GOFO doesn't offer any: it delivers to your address and can't send a parcel to a pickup point. After three failed attempts it keeps the parcel at its warehouse for 14 days, and you contact GOFO to arrange delivery.
