YunExpress tracking: YT numbers, statuses and who delivers

6 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not YunExpress. It shows what YunExpress’s own tracking publishes.

YunExpress, also written Yun Express, is a Shenzhen logistics company that ships small parcels from China for online sellers, including sellers on Amazon, Temu, SHEIN and AliExpress. Track a parcel on its site, yuntrack.com, with the number starting with YT, or paste it in the box above. YunExpress's site doesn't mention texts or emails to recipients, so look in the shop's shipping email or your order page.

YunExpress tracking number: YT and 16 digits

Yuntrack asks for "your YunExpress tracking number (starting with YT)" and gives no length. Invented examples:

NumberPeek reads it as
YT1234567890123456YunExpress (YT and 16 digits).
YT1234567890123YTO Express, another carrier (YT and 13 digits).
YT123456789012345Not YunExpress (YT and 15 digits): look for a missing digit.
LP12345678901234An AliExpress logistics reference (LP and 14 digits), see Cainiao.

Can't find it in the shop's messages? See how to find your tracking number.

Once a local carrier takes over, the parcel's detail page on yuntrack can show that carrier's own number under "Additional Notes". If yuntrack answers Not Found, check the YT and all 16 digits, then ask the shop to confirm it.

What YunExpress tracking statuses mean

Yuntrack is in English only. It files each parcel under a tab (Processing, Transit, Delivered, Not Found, Alert or Returned) and lists its scans. The usual ones, in rough order:

YunExpress saysWhat it means for you
Shipment information receivedThe seller has sent the details; YunExpress may not have the parcel yet.
Shipment picked upYunExpress has collected it from the seller.
The country of origin commences customs declaration.Export customs where it ships from, not yours.
International flight has departedOn its international flight.
Start Customs ClearenceImport customs has started (YunExpress's spelling).
Customs inspection - ImportPicked for a customs check.
Clearance processing completed - ImportCleared customs.
Delivered to local carrierHanded to the carrier that delivers it, not to you.
Arrived at GOFO Regional Destination FacilityReached GOFO, the last-mile carrier named in the scan.
The driver is out for deliveryOut with the driver.
Delivered by MailboxIn your letterbox or mailbox.

Transit means on the way; the latest scan gives the step. YunExpress doesn't explain Alert, its tab for parcels with a problem: read the line under it and ask the shop if nothing changes.

After Delivered to local carrier, the local carrier's own lines follow, in English too. DPD's Sender goods issue is a data record filed while the parcel is still in China, not a problem with your goods. Yuntrack's page code also has a progress line (Pickup, Departed from origin, Arrived at destination, Local carrier on the way, Delivered successfully); its Pickup is the collection from the seller, not a pickup point.

Who delivers YunExpress parcels in the UK and US

YunExpress flies parcels out of China, has them cleared through customs, then hands them to a local carrier. Its pages name no delivery partner for the UK or Ireland; for the US, its Chinese site offers sellers a last-mile service, CIRRO-E-COMMERCE, without saying which parcels it carries. The lines after Delivered to local carrier sometimes name the carrier that has yours. In the US, some scans name GOFO, a last-mile carrier.

YunExpress says nothing to recipients about delivery attempts, cards, holding times or rescheduling; for those, check the local carrier named in the tracking.

An undated YunExpress article in Chinese describes pickup-point lines in Europe: YunExpress picks the point or locker nearest you, within 3 km, or you choose. It gives 6 to 10 calendar days on average from check-in to the point, and says the tracking shows the point's address.

YunExpress tracking not updating, delayed or lost

YunExpress gives recipients no steps, claim form or deadline for a stalled, late, lost or damaged parcel. Its customer is the account holder who signs the contract, so the seller or shop holds any claim: contact the shop or marketplace with your order and YT numbers. For long gaps between scans, see why tracking stops updating.

Stuck at Customs inspection - Import? YunExpress's blog for sellers says being picked doesn't by itself mean a long hold; the level of check decides. A document check usually adds a few working days to about a week; a scan or physical inspection often one to two weeks, sometimes with storage or inspection fees; a review by the authorities weeks to over a month. What you may owe is in parcel held at customs.

Marked delivered but not there? The tracking page may offer a proof of delivery; then ask the local carrier and the shop. Returned means it's going back; YunExpress publishes no return rules for recipients, so ask the shop.

YunExpress contact number and customer service

In October 2026, YunExpress listed no phone number, form or office for recipients in the UK, Ireland or the US. It did list:

  • Email [email protected], as "Customer Service" in yunexpress.com's footer, 8:00 to 23:00 with no time zone. It doesn't say recipients are served; its homepage offers "Human experts with rapid responses (EN/CN)".
  • Phone 400-8575-500 on yunexpress.cn, a mainland China number; it doesn't say whether it works from abroad.
  • Regional contacts for Asia and Australia only.

Yuntrack's Feedback box is about the website. Start with the shop, which holds the contract, then the local carrier named in the tracking. If that's GOFO, in the US, its recipient hotline is +1 (949) 688-6032, 9am to 9pm EST Monday to Friday and 11am to 7pm EST at weekends; its email is [email protected].

Tracking a YunExpress parcel with Peek

Peek recognises YT and 16 digits as YunExpress and takes yuntrack.com links. It checks every 10 minutes, every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery, puts each scan on a map and can notify you when the status changes. It shows the status, history, place of each scan and delivery time.

When YunExpress names the local carrier and its number, Peek can follow the parcel to that carrier, though not for every parcel. It shows no expected delivery date or pickup point for YunExpress parcels, leaves out order references and can't contact YunExpress or file a claim for you.

Questions about YunExpress tracking

Is YunExpress legit?

Yes, it's a real logistics company: Shenzhen Qianhai YunExpress Logistics Co., Ltd., founded in Shenzhen in 2014. By its own account, it has been an Amazon recommended logistics partner since 2017 and an official AliExpress one since April 2025.

Where is YunExpress located?

In Longgang District, Shenzhen, China. It lists no office for recipients in the UK, Ireland or the US; its 2024 privacy policy names Hongkong YunExpress Logistics Limited as data controller outside mainland China.

How long does YunExpress take to deliver?

By YunExpress's own estimates for sellers, Standard Express takes 3 to 5 business days to the UK, 5 to 8 to the US, 8 to 10 to Canada and 4 to 7 to Australia. A Chinese-language product page for another line gives 5 to 8 working days to the UK, 6 to 10 to Ireland and 8 to 15 to the US. You usually can't tell which line the seller chose, and customs checks add time.

Is YunExpress the same company as GOFO?

Neither company's site says so. GOFO, a last-mile carrier founded in August 2023, doesn't mention YunExpress on its site, though it appears in YunExpress's US scans.

Is YunExpress delivered by USPS?

YunExpress doesn't say which local carrier delivers a given US parcel. It launched a "US Standard Postal Service" line in 2020; the tracking may name the carrier that has yours.
