DHL eCommerce Iberia tracking: statuses and ServicePoints

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not DHL eCommerce Iberia. It shows what DHL eCommerce Iberia’s own tracking publishes.

DHL eCommerce Iberia is DHL's standard parcel service in Spain and Portugal, still called DHL Parcel in places. Track a parcel in the tracking box on dhl.com/es-es/ecommerce, or paste the number in the box above. The number comes from the shop, or from DHL's own email or SMS with the expected delivery date.

DHL eCommerce tracking number: where it is and what it looks like

DHL says its tracking number is 10 to 39 letters and digits. Its system tells capital and small letters apart, so type letters in capitals, without spaces. The shop usually emails it; if the sender gave DHL your email or mobile number, DHL also sends it with the expected delivery date (in Portugal, check your spam folder). No number? Ask the shop, or see how to find your tracking number.

DHL publishes no example number. The shapes Peek's catalog knows (examples invented):

ShapeExampleWhose it can be
10 digits1234567890DHL eCommerce Iberia, but also DHL Express, Mondial Relay, Relais Colis, TIPSA and GLS Spain
Two letters, 7 digits, then 0AB12345670DHL eCommerce Iberia

If the shop's email names Mondial Relay, TIPSA or GLS Spain for a 10-digit number, track it there. Two letters, nine digits and ES is a Correos number.

DHL eCommerce tracking statuses explained

DHL's tracking portal (clientesparcel.dhl.es) can show scans in English, Spanish or Portuguese, with the switch at the bottom. The English wordings, in order:

Picked upDHL collected the parcel from the sender; the town follows.
Shipment received at DHL DepotThe parcel reached a DHL depot.

Some need explaining:

  • Delivered, POD pending: marked delivered, proof of delivery not in yet. It can appear early: a later delivery round or a failed attempt may still follow.
  • Shipment with incidence If you are the sender, please contact DHL Parcel, if you are the recipient please contact the sender: the Spanish version says plainly the parcel can't be found. Contact the shop.
  • The expected delivery date might be postponed one working day is a short delay, not a lost parcel.

Delivery, ServicePoints and lockers

DHL eCommerce delivers Monday to Friday, except public holidays.

Nobody home. DHL tries a neighbour in the same block or next door, leaves a note in your letterbox and emails you the neighbour's details if it has your email address.

Changing the delivery. From the expected-date email, or with the shipment number, you can choose another address in the province, a ServicePoint, a neighbour or the concierge, or a day up to 7 working days later. One change only, and once out for delivery only a neighbour or the concierge. Cash-on-delivery parcels and those over 120 x 60 x 60 cm can't go to a ServicePoint.

ServicePoints. DHL has more than 3,500 pickup points in Spain and Portugal. An SMS or email names yours. You have 10 calendar days, with a reminder after 7; then it goes back to the sender. Bring your ID (DNI, or Cartão de Cidadão in Portugal); someone else needs a copy of it, their own ID and DHL's signed authorisation.

Lockers (Spain). Choose one by changing the delivery before it's out for delivery. You get a PIN and open the locker with the DHL lockers app over Bluetooth. It waits 7 calendar days.

Parcel delayed, lost or damaged

No update. If the status hasn't changed for 2 days, DHL says to contact it or the sender. See why tracking stops updating.

Lost. In Spain, DHL tells recipients to contact the sender directly, since the shop holds the contract. In Portugal, DHL eCommerce asks you to contact its customer service.

Damaged or items missing. If you told the driver at delivery, contact the sender. Otherwise report it to DHL with the shipment reference and photos, within 7 calendar days for a domestic parcel or 7 working days for an international one.

Customs. If customs charges duty, DHL pays it for you and you pay it back, in Spain even if you refuse the parcel. More in the customs guide.

CTT Express. DHL eCommerce Portugal has joined CTT Express, and in Spain, under an alliance with DHL eCommerce, CTT Express focuses on deliveries to consumers. Some parcels carry a CTT Express number: track those with CTT Express.

DHL eCommerce contact number

As DHL's Spanish and Portuguese pages listed them on 11 October 2026 (there is no English-only line; use the country the parcel is delivered in):

  • Spain, lockers: the locker app's support line is 911 988 248.
  • Portugal: 210 608 223, or 210 270 755 for parcels from Germany or outside Europe, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00.

Tracking DHL eCommerce Iberia parcels with Peek

Peek asks DHL eCommerce Iberia alone about two letters, 7 digits and 0. For 10 digits it asks Relais Colis, TIPSA and DHL eCommerce Iberia, and DHL Express first when its check digit passes; if DHL Express knows the number too, it wins. If carriers of different brands know it, or none does, you pick with "Change carrier". DHL's other numbers (12 or 22 digits, JJD plates, postal numbers) work only after picking "DHL eCommerce Iberia" there. No postcode is needed.

Links from clientesparcel.dhl.es with /LiveTracking/ModificarEnvio/ can be pasted; for links from the portal's Portuguese and English versions, paste the number instead.

DHL's scans carry no time zone, so Peek doesn't show DHL's own scan list. It takes the dated history from universal tracking services, asks DHL again every 6 hours and, if no service answers, shows DHL's current status, dated when Peek saw it. Statuses keep DHL's English wording, except Delivered and Out for delivery, which show as Peek's own. Peek can notify you when the status changes. It shows no expected delivery date or delivery time for DHL eCommerce Iberia.

Questions about DHL eCommerce tracking

Is DHL eCommerce the same as DHL Express?

No. DHL eCommerce is DHL Group's standard parcel service, with its own tracking and customer service.

How long does DHL eCommerce take to deliver?

DHL says 24 to 48 hours within the Iberian Peninsula and 3 to 6 days from elsewhere in Europe.

Why does my DHL eCommerce parcel have no tracking?

Usually DHL doesn't have the parcel yet: tracking shows only once the sender hands it over, often 24 to 48 hours after you get the number. In Portugal, DHL asks you to contact it if more than 24 hours have passed since your purchase.

Is a DHL eCommerce text legit?

Real DHL messages link only to DHL's own sites, and DHL asks for payment only for duties and taxes. If a text says you weren't home and asks you to download an app, or asks you to pay for anything else, delete it.
