Shiprocket tracking: AWB numbers, statuses and RTO
Shiprocket, based in Gurugram, is an Indian shipping platform, not a courier: online sellers book their parcels through it with couriers such as Delhivery, Blue Dart or Xpressbees, and Shiprocket gives the buyer a tracking page. ShiprocketX is its service for parcels sent from India abroad. Track a parcel on Shiprocket's tracking page with its AWB, order ID or mobile number, on the shiprocket.co link the seller sent, or in the box above. Shiprocket says it sends you the AWB by email and SMS once the order is confirmed.
Shiprocket tracking number: what it looks like
Shiprocket calls the tracking number the AWB (air waybill number). Within India, it is the courier's own number. A ShiprocketX parcel travels under Shiprocket's own AWB: 13 digits starting with 832. Shiprocket publishes no format. With invented digits:
| Number (invented) | What it is |
|---|---|
8321234567890 | 832 and 10 more digits: a ShiprocketX AWB. |
1234567890123 | 13 or 14 digits: a domestic courier's AWB, such as Delhivery's or Xpressbees'. |
12345678903 | 11 digits: the shape of a Blue Dart AWB. |
FMPC1234567890 | Three letters, C, P or R, then 10 digits: an Ekart AWB. |
Where to find it. Look in the email and SMS sent when your order was confirmed. Shiprocket's tracker also takes the order ID or your mobile number, checks a one-time code (OTP) and opens myShiprocket, its site where buyers follow their orders. More places to look: how to find your tracking number.
Numbers that look alike. Delhivery's waybills can also be 13 digits long, so a number starting 832 is likely, not certainly, Shiprocket's. Shiprocket's tracker answers for any courier booked through it, so the seller's shiprocket.co/tracking/ link works whatever the number's shape.
Shiprocket tracking statuses explained
The tracking page shows the status, the courier or service beside the AWB, then the scans, newest first, each with an activity, often a place, a day and month, and a time, but no year. Most lines are the courier's own words: the domestic courier's in India, the destination carrier's abroad. Lines a parcel commonly meets, in order:
| Shiprocket's page says | What it means for you |
|---|---|
Order Received | The seller created the order. No courier has the parcel yet. |
Manifested - Out for Pickup | The courier is on its way to collect the parcel from the seller. |
In Transit - Shipment picked up | The courier has collected it. |
In Transit - Shipment Recieved at Origin Center | At the courier's first hub (spelt this way on the page). |
Dispatched - Delivering At Shiprocket Warehouse | ShiprocketX: the courier is taking the parcel to Shiprocket's export hub, not to you. |
Received At DC | Shiprocket's export hub has it. |
AWB Handed over to Flight | Handed to the airline. |
CUSTOM CLEARED OVERSEAS | Cleared by customs. |
Received by carrier | The carrier in your country has it. |
RTO DELIVERED | Returned to the seller. |
Out For Pickup and PICKUP EMPLOYEE IS OUT TO P/U SHIPMENT also mean the parcel hasn't been collected yet. Reached At Warehouse and Connection Aligned are steps at the export hub in Delhi. Customer has made payment or Provided ID/Tax information is a customs step abroad: duties paid or identity details given (see parcels held at customs). Any line starting with RTO, return to origin, means the parcel is going back to the seller.
An older parcel. After a while, the page shows only an archived view: the last status (DELIVERED, FULFILLED for an order delivered and closed, or RTO DELIVERED), its day, the service and the AWB with its last characters hidden. The history is shown only to the buyer, after a code sent to their phone. After about a year, the page answers AWB Not Found.
Who delivers Shiprocket parcels
In India, the courier the seller booked. Shiprocket says it works with 42 courier partners, among them Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, Ekart, DTDC, Shadowfax, India Post and Amazon Shipping, and that delivery estimates depend on the courier, the PIN code and the service. The tracking page names the courier's service, such as Delhivery Surface.
Abroad, a domestic courier takes the ShiprocketX parcel to Shiprocket's export hub in Delhi; it is then flown out, cleared by customs and handed to a carrier in the destination country, still under Shiprocket's AWB. In histories read on Shiprocket's tracking, USPS took over in the US. The page names the service, such as SRX Economy or SRX Premium. Shiprocket tells sellers its economy service takes 12 to 15 business days to the US, UK, Canada and elsewhere, and its duty-paid services 10 to 12 days to the US: sales figures, not a date for your order. Its menus also call ShiprocketX "ShipX".
Failed delivery (NDR) and RTO
An NDR, non-delivery report, means the courier couldn't deliver. The seller sees it in Shiprocket minutes later and decides whether to try again or take the parcel back.
- Messages. If the seller uses Shiprocket's NDR buyer flow, an order marked "customer requested future delivery" or "customer refused the delivery" sends you an SMS, and on some plans an automated call, asking you to confirm delivery. A seller can also have Shiprocket text you a link to ask for another attempt and correct your address or phone number.
- Tracking page. Shiprocket says buyers can request a reattempt there and see the reason given for each attempt.
- An attempt you didn't get. Tell the seller, who can report a "fake attempt" to Shiprocket with your confirmation.
- Three attempts. Couriers make up to three. Then the order is marked RTO and goes back to the seller's pickup address or warehouse.
Once it is on its way back, ask the seller for a new shipment or a refund. See missed deliveries and returned to sender.
Shiprocket parcel not arriving or tracking not updating
No update. Shiprocket says couriers update the tracking once they scan the parcel, which can take a few hours; after more than a day without change, contact the seller. While the page shows only Order Received or a pickup line, the courier hasn't collected it. More in why tracking stops updating.
Who acts. The seller is Shiprocket's customer. Asked "Whom shall I contact if I have concerns?", Shiprocket answers: "Please get in touch with the seller you bought from." For a lost, damaged or undelivered parcel, go to the seller too: Shiprocket's ShiprocketX cover for loss or damage, up to INR 5,000, is for sellers. See lost parcels and delivered but not received.
Shiprocket customer care number and contact
As read on 21 October 2026:
- Phone: 9643887070, 9711451060 and 8510042020 (Indian numbers, +91 from abroad). Shiprocket's tracking site lists them for tracking issues, with live chat, and calls its support 24/7; its contact page gives the same numbers from 9 am to 9 pm.
- Email: [email protected].
- Escalation: support answers within 5 business days. If not, write to [email protected], then to [email protected]; each replies within 3 business days.
Most of this help is written for sellers. Shiprocket's tracking site also warns: if a message from an unverified source asks for payment, don't reply or share payment details; block and report the sender. See delivery scam texts.
Tracking Shiprocket parcels with Peek
For a 13-digit number starting 832, Peek asks Shiprocket: the Add sheet shows "asking Shiprocket…", then "Shiprocket has this parcel." As Delhivery's waybills share that length, Peek doesn't name Shiprocket from the number alone; if no answer comes, pick Shiprocket with "Change". A shiprocket.co/tracking/ link names Shiprocket whatever the number.
Peek reads Shiprocket's tracking page every 10 minutes, every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery. It shows the status, each scan with its place where the page gives one, the service name, Shiprocket's delivery estimate while the parcel is on its way, and the delivery time of a parcel delivered in India. Scans abroad keep the local time the page writes, so a ShiprocketX delivery abroad has no exact time. Lines show as the page writes them, except exact matches such as Delivered, which appear in Peek's own words. Peek leaves out the seller, the order's contents, your name and address, and shows no proof of delivery; it doesn't switch to the carrier abroad.
For an older parcel, Peek shows the archived view's last status and its day, and looks for a fuller history in tracking services. It can't verify you as the buyer, ask for a reattempt or contact Shiprocket or the seller for you. It can notify you of every scan, important steps only or "Delivery day only". Peek also follows Delhivery, Blue Dart, Xpressbees, Ekart, DTDC, Shadowfax and India Post by their own numbers, though they have no page here.
Questions about Shiprocket tracking
Is Shiprocket a courier company?
No. Shiprocket is a shipping platform: sellers book couriers such as Delhivery, Blue Dart or Xpressbees through it, and the courier carries the parcel. ShiprocketX parcels travel under Shiprocket's own AWB and are delivered by a carrier in the destination country.
What does RTO mean in Shiprocket tracking?
RTO means return to origin: the parcel couldn't be delivered and is going back to the seller, after up to three attempts or sooner if the seller asks. RTO DELIVERED means the seller has it back.
What is the Shiprocket customer care number?
Shiprocket's tracking site lists 9643887070, 9711451060 and 8510042020 for tracking issues, as read on 21 October 2026. For a problem with your order, Shiprocket tells buyers to contact the seller.
Why does Shiprocket tracking say AWB Not Found?
Shiprocket doesn't know the number entered: check it for typos or missing digits, and wait a few minutes if the order was just placed, as Shiprocket's page suggests. Shipments older than about a year aren't found either.
