LinHan International tracking: LHGJ numbers and statuses

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not LinHan International. It shows what LinHan International’s own tracking publishes.

LinHan International (深圳市林瀚国际物流有限公司, roughly Shenzhen LinHan International Logistics Co., Ltd.) is a forwarder in Shenzhen, China, that flies parcels for online sellers out of China and hands them to an agent in the buyer's country for customs and delivery. Its numbers start with LHGJ: type yours on LinHan's tracker, linhan56.com/index/tracknumber/track, or in the box above.

LinHan tracking number: what it looks like

LinHan publishes no number format. Its waybills are LHGJ, eight digits and CD. With invented digits:

NumberWhat it is
LHGJ12345678CDLHGJ, eight digits and CD: a LinHan International waybill.
LHGJ1234567CDOnly seven digits: not a LinHan shape. Check for a missing digit.

Lower case and spaces don't matter when you paste the number into Peek.

Where to find it. LinHan works for sellers: its home page offers them live prices and booking on its routes, and recipients only the tracker. The number comes from the shop you ordered from; see how to find your tracking number.

On LinHan's tracker. It takes up to 20 numbers in one search, separated by commas or line breaks, and only shows parcels from the last two months.

LinHan tracking statuses explained

LinHan publishes no list of its statuses. Its tracker is in Chinese, but the scans are in English, newest first. Above them, a summary line gives the destination country and a status in Chinese:

LinHan saysWhat it means for you
运输途中"In transit": the parcel is on its way.
成功签收"Signed for": delivered.
查询不到"Cannot be found": the tracker has no parcel under this number, and no scans follow.

The scans for LinHan's own steps in China, in the order a parcel meets them:

LinHan saysWhat it means for you
Order information receivedThe seller has sent LinHan the order's details. LinHan doesn't have the parcel yet.
Arrive at the cross border receiving pointLinHan received the parcel at its cross-border receiving point in China. Arrive at the receiving point means the same.
Goods leave the operation centerIt left LinHan's operation centre.
Arrival at domestic internationality airportAt the departure airport in China.
Departure from the airport of origin domesticThe flight has left China.

Then the steps in your country, where LinHan's agent and the network that delivers take over:

LinHan saysWhat it means for you
Item arrives at destination airportLanded in your country. Arrive at the destination international airport means the same.
local carrier Agent Import customs clearanceLinHan's agent is clearing the parcel through import customs. It isn't released yet. Import customs clearance, after the port's town, is the same step.
transfer to local acting company International self-operation teamHanded to the agent in your country.
Internationaliy Package received at processing centerLinHan's spelling. The delivering network's first scan, at a processing centre. Not a new start: LinHan took the parcel in China.
Leave the processing center and transport to … processing centerOn the way between two processing centres, the next one's town where the … is. Leave the … processing center names the one it left.
Arrive at the sorting and distribution centerAt a sorting centre, its town written after "Arrive". Leaving the sorting center is the parcel leaving it.
Arrive at the last mile sorting and distribution centerAt the sorting centre of the network that delivers, after a town, state and ZIP code.
Arrived at logistics carrier Facility In Transit to Next FacilityA scan from the network that delivers, with its name replaced by "logistics carrier".
Accepted at logistics carrier Regional Destination FacilityThat network's scan near you, after a town, state and ZIP code. "Accepted" is no new start: the parcel is still in transit.
package is on the wayMoving on from the local sorting centre, after the town. It doesn't say a driver has it for delivery today.
DeliveredDelivered.

Many rows in your country start with the town (in the US, the town, state and ZIP code), and the delivery row with your postcode too: town, postcode, Delivered. The same row can be listed twice.

Times are on Beijing time. LinHan's tracker writes every time on Beijing time (UTC+8), the scans in your country too. Beijing's date changes at 16:00 UTC, so a scan made between then and your midnight shows the next day's date: in Germany from 17:00 in winter and 18:00 in summer, in New York from 11:00 in winter and noon in summer.

Who delivers LinHan parcels

LinHan's home page lists its chain as collection, warehousing and sorting, customs clearance in China, air freight, customs declaration abroad, overseas warehouses and delivery (揽货, 仓储分拣, 国内通关, 空运, 海外报关, 海外仓, 海外派送). It names no routes or destinations; parcels seen on its tracker went to the United States and Germany.

In your country, an agent takes over. LinHan's tracker calls it "local carrier Agent" and "local acting company", and the network that delivers "logistics carrier", without naming a company or giving a second tracking number. Its record does go on to the delivery, so LinHan's tracker stays the place to follow the parcel.

LinHan publishes no delivery times and no rules for delivery attempts, pickup points or holding times. If a card or message from the local carrier names it, that carrier's rules apply: see missed deliveries.

LinHan parcel not arriving or tracking stuck

Only Order information received. The seller has booked the parcel, but it hasn't reached LinHan. If nothing follows for several days, ask the seller whether it has been sent.

Nothing after the flight. After Departure from the airport of origin domestic, the next row comes when the parcel lands or reaches customs in your country. More in tracking a parcel from China and why tracking stops updating.

At customs. LinHan's tracker doesn't say whether you owe anything and names no delivering company, so a text asking you for a fee is hard to check: see delivery scam texts before paying, and parcels held at customs.

查询不到. The tracker doesn't know the number: check it with the seller. It only shows parcels from the last two months, so it won't find an older one either.

Delivered but not there. If the last line is Delivered, read delivered but not received and tell the seller. LinHan's tracker shows no signature or photo.

Lost, damaged or returned. LinHan publishes no claims process, compensation or returns policy. The seller booked the parcel with LinHan, so ask the seller or the marketplace for a refund or a new parcel. See lost parcels.

LinHan International contact

LinHan's home page, in Chinese only, ends with a 联系我们 (Contact us) block: an email address and a service address in Pinghu, Longgang District, Shenzhen. It gives no phone number, chat or form, and nothing for recipients: for anything about your order, ask the seller.

Track a LinHan parcel with Peek

Peek recognises a LinHan number by its shape: LHGJ, eight digits and CD, which no other carrier in its catalog uses. A link to LinHan's tracker with nos= and the number in it can be pasted too.

Peek reads LinHan's own tracker and shows the status, each scan with its town where LinHan gives one, and the destination country. It moves the town out of the wording into the scan's place and leaves out the postcode, so a delivery reads Delivered at its town. A row LinHan lists twice shows once, and the scans keep LinHan's English, Internationaliy included. Peek reads every time on Beijing time, as the tracker writes it, and shows it in your device's time zone.

Some lines count differently from how they sound. Order information received is "Label created". Internationaliy Package received at processing center and Accepted at logistics carrier Regional Destination Facility are "In transit", not a new acceptance. The two customs lines are "At customs". package is on the way stays "In transit", as it doesn't say the parcel is out for delivery.

LinHan gives no expected delivery date, weight, service name, delivering company or second number, so Peek shows none of these, and it follows the LHGJ number to the end rather than handing the parcel over to another carrier.

Peek checks every 10 minutes by day and every hour or two overnight, and can notify you of every scan, important steps only or "Delivery day only". It can't contact LinHan or the seller for you.
