"CouriersPlease tracking: numbers, statuses and help"
CouriersPlease is an Australian parcel delivery company, part of FMH Group, that delivers through local Franchise Partners across metropolitan and regional Australia. To track a parcel, enter its consignment number on CouriersPlease's tracking page, or paste it in the box above. The number comes from the shop or sender that booked CouriersPlease.
Couriers Please tracking number: what it looks like
CouriersPlease calls it the consignment number, also known as the tracking number. Its Help Centre says it is usually up to 15 characters, letters and/or numbers, and generally starts with CP. The redelivery page allows up to 20 characters. Not every CouriersPlease number starts with CP.
| Number (invented) | What it is |
|---|---|
CPABC1234123456 | A typical CouriersPlease consignment number: CP, letters, then digits. |
CPA12345000000 | Also a CouriersPlease shape, a shorter one. |
CP123456785AU | Not CouriersPlease: two letters, nine digits and AU is a postal item number, the kind Australia Post uses. |
Where to find it. Look in the shop's order confirmation email or app. CouriersPlease's own emails always contain it, but are sent only if the sender shared your email address. They come from [email protected], and its texts from the sender name Courierspls. A missed-delivery card has a redelivery card number, which the redelivery page also accepts. CouriersPlease can't look a parcel up by name or address. How to find your tracking number lists more places to look.
Number not valid or no tracking yet? Check for typos and confirm with the shop that it went with CouriersPlease. The shipment may be booked before its details reach CouriersPlease's tracking, so CouriersPlease suggests trying again after 1 business day.
CouriersPlease tracking statuses explained
These are the Help Centre's wordings, in the order a parcel usually meets them:
| CouriersPlease status | What it means for you |
|---|---|
Shipment information received | The sender created the shipment. CouriersPlease may not have the parcel yet. |
Your parcel has been picked up | CouriersPlease collected it from the sender. |
Arrived at delivery centre | Moving through CouriersPlease's network; nothing to do. |
In transit to regional delivery centre | Handed to a regional delivery partner. Updates may be slower. |
Onboard for delivery | With a driver or Franchise Partner for delivery. |
Delivery attempted – Unsafe to leave – Sent to a collection point | Nobody could take it and there was no safe place, so it's going to a nearby collection point. |
Processing for collection at a nearby collection point | At the collection point, but not ready to collect yet. |
Pickup at Collection Point – Ready for collection | Go and collect it, with ID and your collection details. |
Delivered with Authority to Leave (ATL) | Left at your address without a signature. |
Delivered | Delivered. Can't find it? Check the proof of delivery. |
Collection period expired – Return to sender in progress | Not collected in time, so it's going back to the sender. |
Shipment information received confuses people most: paperwork exists, but the parcel may still be with the shop. CouriersPlease also uses Manifested for the same moment, before the parcel is scanned into its network. If it stays there, ask the sender to confirm it was dispatched.
In transit to regional delivery centre doesn't necessarily mean the parcel has stopped moving, CouriersPlease says. Its tracking page also shows a Delivery ETA with a badge: On track, or Overdue once that date has passed without delivery.
Delivery, collection points and redelivery
Delivery days and times. CouriersPlease's guide gives 1 to 3 business days from metro to metro, a few extra days across the country, longer for regional or remote areas, and an extra week at peak times like Christmas. All are estimates. You can't pick a delivery time: it depends on the Franchise Partner's route that day.
When you're not home. The driver looks for a safe place. If there isn't one, or a signature is needed, the parcel goes to a nearby collection point. Parcels over 10 kg or 100 cm don't go to a collection point: you're asked to arrange a redelivery instead. In regional areas, CouriersPlease says parcels are always left in a safe place.
Collection points. CouriersPlease works with HUBBED, which has more than 3,000 collection points across Australia. Find one with the collection point locator. The transfer can take up to 24 hours to confirm, so wait for Ready for collection. You need a collection PIN, current photo ID and proof of address. Parcels are generally held for 7 days, then may go back to the sender. If no PIN arrived, request it from HUBBED.
Redelivery. Book it on the redelivery page with the consignment or redelivery card number. The link is valid for 6 business days from the attempt, and redelivery usually follows within 1 to 2 business days. You get one redelivery; if that fails, the depot generally holds the parcel up to 6 business days before it may go back. A parcel already sent to a collection point can't be redelivered to your address.
Delivery Choices. If the sender gave your email and mobile, CouriersPlease's notification has a link to ask for a signature, collect nearby, leave it with a neighbour, change the address or choose another day a few days later. Outside that link, only the sender can redirect a parcel to a new address.
CouriersPlease parcel overdue, missing or damaged
No recent updates. Regional and interstate deliveries, and handovers to a delivery partner, can leave several days between scans. CouriersPlease says most delayed parcels arrive within 24 to 48 business hours of the original estimate. Past the estimate with no recent update, contact Support. More in tracking not updating.
Delivered but not received. Check the proof of delivery (a photo for Authority to Leave, which can take up to an hour to appear), safe places, people at the address and any mailroom. Then contact Support; CouriersPlease asks for disputes within 14 business days of the last delivery scan. See also delivered but not received.
Damaged. As the receiver, contact the sender: the sender or account holder lodges the claim, within 14 business days of delivery. Parcel Protect covers eligible domestic shipments up to AUD 1,000, but not the first AUD 100, and not parcels left under Authority to Leave.

Tracking CouriersPlease parcels with Peek
Peek names CouriersPlease straight away for a number of the CP shape above. A link from couriersplease.com.au/tools-track (with no= or trackingCode=) works too. No account, postcode or phone number needed. A CouriersPlease number that doesn't start with CP isn't recognised as CouriersPlease: paste the tracking link, or pick CouriersPlease with "Change carrier".
Peek can't read CouriersPlease's own tracking. It follows the parcel through tracking services and shows the status and history they hold, in their wording; it shows Delivered and Shipment information received with its own labels. That history is often hours behind CouriersPlease's page, and some parcels show nothing yet. Peek shows no Delivery ETA, collection point or proof of delivery for CouriersPlease.
Peek checks every 10 minutes, including on delivery day, and can notify you when the status changes. For redelivery, a PIN or a claim, go to CouriersPlease or the shop.
Questions about Couriers Please tracking
How long does CouriersPlease take to deliver?
Usually 1 to 3 business days between metro areas, by CouriersPlease's estimate. Allow longer across the country, to regional areas and at Christmas.
Why is my Couriers Please tracking not updating?
Usually the parcel is between scans on a regional or interstate leg, or with a delivery partner. If it has passed its estimate with no update, contact CouriersPlease Support.
Does CouriersPlease use parcel lockers?
CouriersPlease's pages describe collection points run with HUBBED rather than lockers. A missed parcel often goes to one, and you need a PIN and photo ID to collect it.
Can I pick up a CouriersPlease parcel from the depot?
Usually, from the depot serving your address, once Support has arranged it. Bring photo ID and collect within 5 business days of the confirmation.
