Sending tracking in Spain: number, statuses and phone

8 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Sending. It shows what Sending’s own tracking publishes.

Sending (Sending Transporte Urgente) is a Spanish express parcel and logistics company that delivers across Spain and Portugal. InPost says it added Sending in 2025, and Sending's site now carries the "Sending by InPost" logo. To track a parcel, enter the shipment code or your reference on Sending's Localiza tu envío page, or paste the number in the box above. Sending says the recipient gets the code by email, SMS or app.

Your Sending tracking number

Sending's tracker asks for the código de envío (shipment code) and also takes your reference; its contact forms ask for the número de expedición (shipment number). If you bought online, look in the shop's shipping email or on the order page too. With invented digits:

NumberWhat it is
00000000000012 digits, leading zeros included: a Sending shipment number. MRW, FedEx, Mondial Relay and others use 12 digits too.
A shop's or sender's referenceSending's own tracker can find a shipment by it. Peek can't: it needs the 12-digit number.

Since 12 digits fit so many carriers, check that the shop's email really names Sending. If Sending's tracker answers LO SENTIMOS, NO HEMOS ENCONTRADO TU ENVIO. ("sorry, we haven't found your shipment"), check the digits, then ask the shop to confirm the number and the carrier. No number at all? See where to find a tracking number.

What Sending's tracking statuses mean

At the top, a progress bar moves through En preparación (being prepared), Tránsito (in transit) and Reparto (delivery round), and ends at Entregada (delivered) or FALTA DEFINITIVA. Below it, the scans are listed newest first under each day, with the time and the town of the Sending branch. The known wordings, as Sending writes them (without accents), in the order a parcel usually meets them:

StatusWhat it means for you
Mercancia recogida"Goods collected": Sending has picked the parcel up from the sender.
En transito internacional / in international transitOn an international leg of the journey.
Salida en ruta nacional"Left on the national route": on its way to the branch that delivers in your area.
El envio ha llegado a tu delegacion mas cercana"Your parcel has reached your nearest branch": the delivering branch has it.
Tu envio esta en repartoOut for delivery.
Has sido ausenteLiterally "you were absent": the driver came and nobody was in.
Direccion incorrecta - faltan datos"Wrong address, details missing": the address wasn't enough to deliver.
Direccion corregida por el destinatario"Address corrected by the recipient": a note on the record, not a movement of the parcel.
El envio ha sido entregadoDelivered.
Entregada PDADelivered, recorded on the driver's handheld (PDA).
FALTA DEFINITIVAOn the progress bar: the parcel is written off as missing after failed delivery attempts.

El envio ha llegado a tu delegacion mas cercana often shows a date with no real time (00:00). Next to a delivery, Sending's page may also show a Recibido ("received") line with the name of whoever took the parcel: check it first if the tracking says delivered and you have nothing.

Sending delivery in Spain: time slots, missed deliveries and address changes

For online orders, Sending says recipients can choose the time slot they want their parcel in, and that it has an SMS alert an hour before delivery. Its pages don't say how to choose the slot.

Missed delivery. After a failed attempt, the tracking shows Has sido ausente. Sending's pages don't say how many times it tries again, whether it leaves a card or how long it keeps the parcel, so ask Sending what happens next, by phone or through its contact form (below). More in missed deliveries.

Wrong or incomplete address. If you see Direccion incorrecta - faltan datos, or the address is simply wrong, use Sending's address change form. It asks for the shipment number, the recipient's full name, an email, a phone number (optional) and the new address: street, number, floor and door, postcode, town and any extra details. Sending doesn't say whether a change costs anything or how late you can ask for one. See also changing a delivery address.

Sending parcel late, lost or not received

Sending carries the parcel for the shop, so for a refund or a new parcel, go to the shop. Spanish consumer law backs you: unless you agreed otherwise, the seller must deliver within 30 calendar days of the purchase. And if the shop chose the carrier, or you picked it from the shop's options, the goods stay at the seller's risk until you, or someone you named other than the carrier, have them in hand.

  • Not moving: see tracking that isn't updating, and ask Sending by phone or through the form about a shipment's status.
  • FALTA DEFINITIVA: the parcel is given up as missing. Tell the shop: the loss is the seller's, not yours. See lost parcels.
  • Delivered but not received: check the Recibido line, ask your neighbours or the building's concierge, then contact the shop. More in delivered but not received.
  • Damaged: Sending's pages publish no claim process or deadline. Take photos before unpacking and tell the shop; see damaged parcels.
  • Changed your mind: you generally have 14 calendar days from receiving the goods to withdraw from the purchase, and you tell the seller. Sending also has a withdrawal form (desistimiento de compra).

Sending contact number and customer service

As Sending's site listed them on 30 October 2026:

  • Phone (Spain): +34 919 012 048, for questions about a shipment's status. It's on the Spanish tracking page; the English page gives no number, and no opening hours are published.
  • Contact form: the formulario de contacto, in Spanish, with four topics: a shipment's status, general shipping conditions and other questions, a change of address or details, and a withdrawal from a purchase. The status form asks for the sender's full name or nickname, the shipment number, your email, a detailed description of what's inside (for clothes: colour, brand and size) and your question, with an optional attachment of up to 3 MB.
  • Email: the Spanish tracking page also gives an InPost Spain email address.

Track a Sending parcel with Peek

Peek can't tell a Sending number by its shape: 12 digits fit many carriers. Paste it all the same: Peek follows more than 3,500 carriers. When you add it from Spain, Peek asks several carriers that use 12 digits whether they know it, Sending first: you'll see "Checking tracking services…", then "Sending has this parcel" if only Sending knows the number. From anywhere else, that check leaves Sending out. If Sending doesn't come up, press "Change" and pick it, listed under "Fits this number" or found by typing its name. On a parcel you've already added, use "Change carrier".

Peek takes only Sending's 12-digit shipment number: pick Sending for any other and Peek notes next to its name that it "doesn’t issue numbers like this one". For a reference, use the tracker on sending.es. There's no tracking link to paste either: Sending's search form posts the number to its tracker, so no address opens a single parcel.

Peek shows the status and the history in Sending's Spanish wording, each scan with the town of its Sending branch; a scan dated by its day alone shows just the day. When the progress bar ends at Entregada, Peek marks the parcel delivered even if the scans stop earlier, and FALTA DEFINITIVA shows as "Needs attention". Peek leaves out the sender's reference, the delivery time window, the sender's and recipient's postcodes and towns, the delivering branch, the delivery options and the name of who signed, and shows no weight or expected delivery date: for the time window, look on sending.es.

Peek checks every 10 minutes by day, every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery and every hour or two overnight. It can notify you of every scan, important steps only or delivery day only. It can't contact Sending or the shop for you, or change the address.

Questions about Sending tracking

Is Sending part of InPost?

Yes, according to InPost: InPost Spain says it added Mondial Relay in 2021 and Sending in 2025, and Sending's site now carries the "Sending by InPost" logo. Sending parcels are still tracked on sending.es. The company named in its privacy policy is Sending Transporte y Comunicación, S.A., in Coslada (Madrid). For InPost Spain's own Locker and Punto Pack parcels, see InPost.

Can I track Sending in English?

Only partly. sending.es has an English "Find your shipment" page, but it opens the same tracker, and the scans are in Spanish. The table above translates them; Peek shows them as Sending writes them.

How long does Sending take to deliver?

Sending says it handles deliveries within 24 hours across Spain and Portugal, for shipments coming from Europe and the Iberian Peninsula. It also covers Andorra, Ceuta, Melilla, the Canary and Balearic Islands and the Azores, without giving times for them.

What does "Has sido ausente" mean on Sending?

"You were absent": the driver tried to deliver and nobody was in. Sending's pages don't say whether it tries again, so call +34 919 012 048 or use its contact form.

What does FALTA DEFINITIVA mean?

It's where Sending's progress bar ends for a parcel written off as missing after failed delivery attempts. Ask the shop for a refund or a replacement: if the shop chose the carrier, the loss is the seller's.
