Planzer tracking: what each status means and what to do

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Planzer. It shows what Planzer’s own tracking publishes.

Planzer Paket (Planzer Parcel on its English pages) is the Swiss Planzer group's parcel service, delivering senders' parcels of up to 30 kg in Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Your tracking number is in the email or SMS titled "A delivery is on its way to you", from the shop or from Planzer. Its link opens Planzer's recipient portal, or paste the number in the box above.

Where to find your Planzer tracking number

In German that message reads "Eine Sendung ist unterwegs für Sie", in French "Un colis est en chemin pour vous", in Italian "A breve riceverà una spedizione". Nothing arrived? Check your spam folder, then ask the sender: some send no notification, or one without the number. See how to find your tracking number.

Two other codes don't track: the Reference number on Planzer's tracking site is the sender's own, and the delivery code on a missed-delivery card opens the portal. Typing the number in only shows the status; to change the delivery, use the message's link.

Planzer publishes no number format. Peek knows these shapes (digits invented):

NumberWhose it is
9134 6097 0000 0000 0000Planzer: 20 digits starting 91346097.
999.90.98765432A Planzer shared shipment: 13 digits starting 99990.
441234567890123456Quickpac, part of Planzer Paket: 18 digits starting 44.
99.60.987654.98765432Swiss Post: 18 digits, longer than Planzer's dotted shape.

Copy the number rather than typing it: one digit too many and a Planzer number reads as Australia Post's.

Planzer track and trace statuses explained

Planzer's recipient portal (tracking.app.planzer.ch) follows your browser's language among English, German, French and Italian, and falls back to English. Its English statuses:

StatusWhat it means for you
RecordedLabel created: Planzer has the shipment's details.
Delivery day unknown, ExpectedNo day set yet, or the day Planzer expects to come.
Transferred, Shipment on the wayIt's moving through Planzer's network.
In delivery, Shipment out for deliveryIt's out with the driver.
Not delivered – A delivery card has been deposited, Not deliveredThe driver missed you: look for a card in your letterbox.
New delivery releasedA new delivery was booked after the missed one.
Collection at, Collected atReady for pickup at the Planzer Parcel shop named, or picked up there.
ShippedDelivered, not "the shop has sent it".
Shipment delivered, Delivered, Parcel deliveredDelivered.

Shipped catches people out: on Planzer's English tracking it means delivered. If it shows and nothing has arrived, see the missing-parcel steps below. In German, French and Italian, delivered parcels read Ausgeliefert, Livré or Consegnato.

In Peek's catalog, numbers starting 99990 are shared shipments, read on trackandtrace.planzergroup.com, which opens in German. Peek's records show five steps there: Erfasst (label created), Abholung (collected from the sender, not by you), Umschlaglager (at the transfer depot), In Auslieferung (out for delivery) and Ausgeliefert (delivered).

Planzer delivery, parcel shops and missed deliveries

When it comes. Usually the next working day, Monday to Friday, though Planzer's terms guarantee nothing. Your delivery day is in the notification and the portal.

Where it's left. As standard, the driver leaves it without a signature and takes a GPS-tagged photo as proof. If the sender allows it, pick a safe place (letterbox, inside the building or sheltered by your door) or a new day under "Manage the delivery" behind the message's link; greyed out means the sender doesn't. Planzer doesn't deliver to PO boxes, My Post 24 or PickPost.

Missed delivery. Planzer Paket makes one attempt, then leaves a card in your letterbox and sends an email or SMS. The card's delivery code books a new delivery or shows which Planzer Parcel shop holds your parcel: one the driver can neither hand over nor leave goes to a nearby shop automatically. The terms allow a second attempt only if you or the sender ask within seven calendar days; otherwise the parcel may go back to the sender after at least seven working days.

Parcel shops, free for you, are partner shops or collection boxes, some open around the clock. Find one by postcode on Planzer Paket's parcel shop page, or redirect your parcel to one before the first attempt under "Shipment information" in the portal. A shop usually keeps it seven days: bring the collection code from the portal and your identity card. Someone whose full name you enter there can pick it up with their own ID.

Planzer parcel late, lost or damaged

The sender holds the contract with Planzer Paket, so loss, damage and returns go through the sender.

No update for days. Check the delivery day in the portal, then ask the sender or use Planzer Paket's contact form: it handles missing shipments and complaints about late deliveries or missed paid time slots. Tracking that isn't updating explains the usual reasons.

Delivered but not there. Check that the status says Parcel delivered, then look under "Delivery confirmation" in the portal for the proof and photo, if the sender shows them. Still missing? Use the contact form, and see delivered but not received. If you gave Planzer permission to leave parcels, its form says the risk of loss then passes to you.

Damaged or lost. Planzer sends you to the sender, who wants photos of the goods, the parcel and the label. Be quick: the sender's contract requires hidden damage to be reported in writing within eight working days of delivery, and caps Planzer's liability at CHF 500 per event.

Returns. Ask the sender. Where the portal offers "Return a shipment", print the label and drop the parcel at a Planzer Parcel shop, free.

Planzer customer service and contact number

As listed on Planzer Paket's and Quickpac's pages on 9 October 2026:

  • Customer Service Centre: 0848 00 19 36, Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm, CHF 0.08 per minute from Swiss landlines. Have your tracking number ready.
  • Contact form: on Planzer Paket's contact page, for a missing parcel, redelivery, a new date, an address change, damage or complaints, with a call-back option.
  • Other lines: Quickpac's homepage gives 044 438 50 40, 021 821 02 02 and 091 611 54 84 for Planzer Paket's customer service, one per language, and the tracking box on planzer-paket.ch gives +41 44 438 50 40 in its error message. No page explains how these relate to 0848.
  • From abroad: no page says whether 0848 works outside Switzerland or gives a +41 form of it, so use the contact form.

Tracking a Planzer parcel with Peek

Peek recognises a 20-digit number starting 91346097, or a tracking.app.planzer.ch link with deliveryNumber=, and shows the status, history, expected delivery, delivery time and destination country, the total weight when every parcel states one and the dimensions for a single parcel, but not the recipient address. Shipped appears as delivered.

For a 13-digit number starting 99990, it asks for the complete shared link (trackandtrace.planzergroup.com/shared/…, including its accessKey), then reads the steps reached so far with their times and an expected date.

It checks every 10 minutes, and every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery. It can notify you of every scan, important steps or delivery day only. Planzer's tracking gives no scan places, so there's little to pin on the map. Peek can't contact Planzer for you.

Questions about Planzer tracking

What is Planzer Paket?

It's the parcel branch of Planzer Transport AG in Dietikon, part of the Swiss Planzer group. Its parcels travel overnight by freight train to their region, and Quickpac has been part of it since 2024.

What time does Planzer deliver?

Planzer publishes no delivery hours. It tells senders that parcels without a booked time arrive by the evening of the next working day at the latest, but its terms give no guarantee. Senders can pay for delivery by 8 am, 10 am or noon where the postcode allows.

Does Planzer deliver on Saturday?

Not as a rule: Planzer's terms describe delivery Monday to Friday. Saturday delivery appears only among the services a sender can book, so ask the sender.
