J&T Express China tracking: 极兔速递 numbers, statuses, contact

Peek is an independent tracker, not J&T Express China. It shows what J&T Express China’s own tracking publishes.

J&T Express China (极兔速递) is J&T Express's network in China, operating since March 2020. A J&T China number usually belongs to a parcel inside China, often an online order on its way to you, a friend or a forwarder's warehouse. Track it on J&T's tracker, which is in Chinese, or in the box above. J&T China's own international service flies only to seven countries in Southeast Asia. Elsewhere, such as in the US or the UK, a J&T China number may cover only the parcel's trip inside China, for example to a forwarder.

J&T Express China tracking number: what it looks like

J&T calls it the waybill number (运单号). Peek knows one shape for J&T Express China. With invented digits:

Lower case, spaces and dashes don't matter in Peek.

Where to find it. The seller gives it with the order's shipping details, and it's on the waybill stuck on the parcel. If you can't find it, see how to find your tracking number.

On J&T's site. Type the number in the box on the waybill search page (运单查询), up to 10 numbers at once, separated by spaces or Enter. To protect people's privacy, J&T may then ask you to solve a puzzle or to type the last four digits of the sender's or the recipient's phone number given for the parcel. Its waybill terms give the sender tracking for one year from the day the parcel was sent.

J&T Express China tracking statuses explained

J&T's tracker page handles these statuses, roughly in this order:

已签收Signed for: delivered to you or to someone for you. J&T's tracker shows the time (签收时间) and, when there is one, a photo (查看签收图片).
已拒收Refused by the recipient.
已退回Returned to the sender. J&T's tracker shows when (退回时间).
已取消Cancelled.

Sent to a forwarder? Then 已签收 means its warehouse signed for the parcel, and J&T's part is over. Follow the forwarder's own number from there.

J&T Express China delivery: couriers, collection points and lockers

J&T's waybill terms let it deliver a parcel in one of four ways:

  • to you;
  • to someone living with you, or a person you named to take it;
  • to a collection point (代收点) or a pickup locker (自提柜) in the area of the address;
  • in another way you or the sender asked for.

If you ask or agree, the courier can also leave it at another address you name, or at a parcel point set up by the local government, the residents' committee or the building's management. Once the parcel is left one of these ways with its outer packaging intact, J&T counts its service as done.

China's Express Market Administration Measures, in force since 1 March 2024, add three rules. A parcel goes into a smart locker or a parcel station only with your consent, and the courier company may not confirm receipt for you without it. And you can check the parcel against the waybill when it's handed over, looking inside or refusing it if the packaging is visibly damaged or the contents are fragile.

J&T parcel not updating, lost or returned

Nothing yet. If J&T's tracker says it can't find the waybill (抱歉！未查到此运单), check the number with the seller. Meanwhile, Peek shows "No tracking history yet" for a parcel filed under no carrier, and "Waiting for the carrier" for one filed under J&T Express China.

No update. When a parcel still on its way has had no new step for 4 days, Peek flags it: "No tracking update for four days". It notes that parcels often go quiet and keeps asking. See why tracking stops updating and tracking parcels from China.

Lost or damaged. Ask the seller first: the seller booked J&T, not you. Under J&T's waybill terms, the sender claims within a 30-day claim period, with proof of the parcel's value. Without insurance (保价), J&T pays the actual loss up to ten times the shipping fee; an insured parcel is paid up to its declared value. If the parcel is late, J&T only waives the shipping fee. Returned. J&T may send a parcel back, or handle it as the sender reasonably asks, when the address is unclear, the recipient refuses it (已拒收) or delivery fails through no fault of J&T's. The sender pays. See returned to sender.

Delivered but not there. Check collection points and lockers near the address, your building's reception and, if the parcel went to one, the forwarder. Then call J&T on 956025 or use its online customer service, with the waybill number. J&T Express China contact and customer service

As read on 1 November 2026, J&T Express China lists:

  • 956025: its customer service hotline (服务热线). People answer from 08:30 to 20:00 in China.
  • Online customer service (在线客服) on jtexpress.com.cn: people answer from 08:30 to 21:00. J&T also lists an automated customer service, around the clock.
  • jtservice@jtexpress.com: its customer service mailbox (服务邮箱).
  • WeChat: the 极兔速递+ mini program, for sending parcels and for more tracking details.

For the order itself, ask the seller.

Track a J&T Express China parcel with Peek

Its shape alone doesn't tell Peek that a JT number is J&T China's rather than J&T Express's in Southeast Asia. Paste it all the same: Peek follows more than 3,500 carriers.

  • Pasted alone. Peek asks tracking services about it and shows "Checking tracking services…" meanwhile. If the tracking services have the parcel and name J&T Express China, with dated steps, Peek files it there by itself. If one has the parcel but the carrier isn't settled yet, you see "Tracking history found. Peek will confirm the carrier after saving." If none has it yet, the line under the number says "not found yet · Peek keeps checking". Add it all the same.
  • Picked by you. Tap "Change" and pick J&T Express China under "Fits this number", or search for J&T or 极兔 under "All carriers". On a parcel you've already added, use "Change carrier". Do the same if Peek ever files a J&T China parcel under J&T Express.
  • A link. Paste a J&T China tracking link (jtexpress.com.cn with indexIpt= and the number), and Peek files the parcel under J&T Express China at once ("Detected carrier").

Where the steps come from. Peek doesn't read J&T's tracker. It asks tracking services instead, ParcelsApp, Ship24 and 17TRACK in turn, and shows the status and history of the first one that has the parcel, in that service's words. They may not match J&T's Chinese statuses above, and they can be behind J&T's own tracker.

The link on the parcel's page. Until a service has the parcel, "Open the J&T Express China website" opens the number on J&T's tracker. Once a service has it, the link opens that service instead, such as "Open the ParcelsApp website".

Another carrier delivering. If a tracking service names another carrier for your parcel, with that carrier's number, and Peek reads that carrier's own tracking, Peek asks it too. Once that carrier shows a scan at least as recent as the service's latest, Peek follows the parcel there. A forwarder's number is another parcel to add.

Checks and alerts. While a tracking service has the parcel, Peek checks it every 15 minutes, also when it's out for delivery. After two days without a new step, it checks hourly. It can notify you of "Every scan", "Important steps" or "Delivery only". For a parcel that may wait at a collection point or locker, choose "Important steps": "Delivery only" doesn't tell you when it's ready to collect. Peek can't contact J&T, the forwarder or the seller for you.

Questions about J&T Express China tracking

Is J&T Express China legit?

Yes. J&T Express was founded in Indonesia in August 2015 and started operating in China in March 2020. It bought Best Inc's express business in China in October 2021 and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in October 2023. Its express networks cover 13 countries.

What does a J&T Express China tracking number look like?

JT and 13 digits, such as JT0000000000000. Keep the JT in Peek: the 13 digits alone fit other carriers.

What does 已签收 mean on J&T tracking?

Signed for: delivered to you, someone living with you, a person you named, or a collection point or locker. 已代收 is different: someone, such as a collection point, took the parcel in for you, and you still have to collect it.

Does J&T Express China deliver to the US or the UK?

Not with its own international service: J&T China's International Standard Express flies from mainland China only to Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Cambodia. A J&T China number on an order to the US or the UK may cover only the trip inside China, such as to a forwarder's warehouse.

What is J&T Express China's phone number?
