Heppner tracking: number, postcode and delivery slots

7 min read

Peek is an independent tracker, not Heppner. It shows what Heppner’s own tracking publishes.

Heppner is a French road freight company, from small parcels to pallets and full lorry loads, and its Heppner CONNECT service brings online orders to private homes, even ones over 30 kg. It delivers in France and, through its Swiss company SAFRAM, in Switzerland. Track your order on Heppner's consignee page with the tracking number from Heppner's notifications and your delivery postcode, or paste the number in the box above.

Heppner tracking number: where it is and what it looks like

Heppner says the tracking number "can be found in the notifications sent by Heppner (if applicable)"; it also calls it the receipt number. Its form asks for that number, the delivery postcode and the delivery country (France preselected; Switzerland and Belgium are in the list). An optional field takes the shop's order reference. If you have neither, Heppner says: "Contact your shipper directly." See how to find your tracking number.

Heppner publishes no format. Peek takes 8 digits for Heppner (digits invented):

NumberWhose it may be
12345678Heppner, or a Mondial Relay or Colisweb number of the same length.
1234567Not Heppner: 7 digits point to SEUR.
1234567890Not Heppner: 10 digits fit DHL, Mondial Relay, Relais Colis and others.

Eight digits don't say which company has your order: check the name in the SMS or email (lookalike numbers). If Heppner answers "We were unable to locate your order", it asks you to "Check the correspondence between the zip code entered and the tracking number": a wrong postcode looks like a wrong number.

Heppner tracking statuses and what they mean

Heppner's tracking follows your browser's language among French, English and German, else English. Its English wordings, in order:

Heppner's wordsWhat it means for you
Order taken in charge, Your order has been collectedHeppner has taken the goods in from the sender.
Your order has been shipped from the routing centreIt's travelling between Heppner centres.
Your order has arrived at the delivery centreIt's at the branch that will deliver it.
Waiting for instructions, The delivery of your order is awaiting appointment instructionsHeppner needs you to choose a delivery date or to collect it.
Delivery of your order is scheduled forFollowed by your delivery day.
Your order has been sent for deliveryIt's out for delivery today.
Delivery of your order has been rescheduled, as you were closed or absentThe driver missed you.
Your order is available for collection at the distribution centreIt's waiting for you at the Heppner branch.
Your order has been delivered, Your order has been delivered with qualification(s)Delivered, the second one with reservations written down at delivery.
Your order has been returned to the consignorIt's gone back to the sender. Ask the shop.
Issue on inbound scanSomething went wrong when Heppner took the goods in.

The confusing ones:

  • Collection and Your order has been collected mean Heppner has taken the goods in from the sender. When you pick it up yourself, it reads You have collected your order from the delivery centre.
  • Shipping is Heppner's English for out for delivery, not "the shop has sent it".
  • On the progress bar of the English page, the delivered step reads On delivery, a mistranslation of "Commande livrée" (order delivered), and the out-for-delivery step stays in French: En cours de livraison.
  • qualification(s) means reservations: notes on the delivery receipt about missing or damaged goods.

Heppner delivery: appointments, time slots and missed deliveries

With Heppner CONNECT, private recipients get an email or SMS at each step and can give instructions on the tracking page at any time:

  • "I'm having it delivered": choose the date. Daytime is between 8:30 and 18:00; Heppner confirms a 2-hour slot on the day of delivery. Evenings (18:00 to 21:00) and Saturdays are offered only if the sender paid for Heppner's EXTENT option.
  • "I collect my package": pick it up at your local Heppner branch. The page gives a date until which it's kept.

You can change the date until the order is on its way; after that, the page gives the delivery branch's phone number. If no slot is free, it asks you to call.

Where it's left. At the building entrance. Delivery into the room of your choice (INHOME) is an option the sender buys; above the 4th floor it needs a lift big enough for your order.

No pickup points or lockers. The only place to collect is the Heppner branch.

Missed delivery. The tracking shows it as rescheduled. Heppner doesn't publish how many attempts it makes or how long a branch keeps your order, so book a new date quickly.

Heppner delivery late, damaged or lost

Your contract is with the shop; Heppner's claims sheet and terms address senders and business consignees. Contact the shop first.

No update for days. Check whether the page is Waiting for instructions: nothing moves until you choose a date or collection. Otherwise see tracking not updating.

Damaged or incomplete at delivery. Check the goods in front of the driver and write precise reservations on the delivery receipt ("1 item, reference X, stained, unfit for sale"). Heppner refuses vague ones such as "subject to unpacking". In France, a reservation that isn't precise ("parcel wet") must be confirmed within 72 hours of delivery; a precise one needs no confirmation. For international deliveries it has to be precise on receipt.

Lost. Heppner treats goods as lost 30 days after the agreed delivery date in France, and 60 days for international road transport. A claim needs the receipt number, the amount with proof, the reservations, the packing list, the weight and photos; Heppner's terms bar any action one year after the service. Give these to the shop, who claims from Heppner.

Heppner contact and customer service

As listed on Heppner's pages on 12 October 2026:

  • Your branch: the tracking page shows "Your branch" with its opening hours and phone number. Every branch is in Heppner's network finder.
  • Switzerland (SAFRAM): Geneva (Satigny) +41 22 827 03 11, Basel +41 61 338 93 33, Bardonnex customs office +41 22 771 43 13, each Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00.

Tracking a Heppner delivery with Peek

Peek can't ask Heppner, Mondial Relay or Colisweb whether they know an 8-digit number, so the number alone names no carrier: press "Change" and pick Heppner. Heppner links give it nothing; type the digits.

It then asks for the delivery postcode and tracks nothing without it: 5 digits are looked up in France, 4 in Switzerland. Belgian postcodes also have 4 digits and are sent as Swiss, so Peek can't track Belgian deliveries. A wrong postcode reads like an unknown number.

It shows the status and history with exact times, every step in Peek's own words: Shipment collected, In transit, Shipment forwarded, Out for delivery, Delivered, Returned to sender, Awaiting delivery instructions, Shipment exception. Awaiting instructions and an inbound-scan issue count as problems. Heppner's message that your order will go to a new address under a new reference shows as Returned to sender. There are no scan places, expected date or pickup point, and it leaves out the sender, your name, address and delivery instructions.

Peek checks every 10 minutes, every 2 once the order is out for delivery, and can notify you of every scan, important steps only or delivery day only. It can't book your slot: do that on Heppner's page.

Questions about Heppner tracking

Does Heppner deliver to homes?

Yes. Heppner CONNECT delivers online orders, heavy ones included, to private recipients and small businesses, at the building entrance unless the sender paid for delivery inside.

Does Heppner deliver on Saturdays or in the evening?

Only if the sender bought Heppner's EXTENT option. Otherwise you choose a weekday between 8:30 and 18:00, and Heppner confirms a 2-hour slot on the day.

Can I track a Heppner delivery in Belgium?

On Heppner's own page, yes: Belgium is in its country list. In Peek, no, because a 4-digit postcode is always read as Swiss.

Who is Heppner?

A family-owned French transport company based in Strasbourg, independent for a century by its own account. In Switzerland it works through SAFRAM, founded in 1965 and now part of the Heppner group.
