Delivengo tracking: follow a La Poste parcel from France
Delivengo is La Poste's service for French businesses sending small, low-value parcels (up to 2 kg) abroad, so if a French shop chose it, your parcel leaves France with La Poste and your own country's post delivers it. You track it on La Poste's tracking with the number the shop gives you, or paste it in the box above.
Your Delivengo tracking number
Neither La Poste nor Delivengo publishes a format of its own for Delivengo. The numbers are international postal numbers: two letters, nine digits and FR, such as LD123456785FR (invented). La Poste's tracking wants them without spaces and in capitals.
Where it comes from. The shop gives it to you, in its shipping email or on your order page. La Poste emails you itself only if the shop ticked that option in its Delivengo account and entered your email address; otherwise the number comes only from the shop. If you can't find it, see how to find your tracking number.
Numbers that look alike (all invented):
| Shape | Whose it is |
|---|---|
LD123456785FR | La Poste: Delivengo, Colissimo and other French postal items share this shape. |
LD123456785GB | The same shape with another country's letters belongs to that country's post (here Royal Mail), not to Delivengo. |
123456789012345 | 15 digits, or 14 digits and a letter: a partner number La Poste may show for an international item, if the partner sends it. |
The last two letters say which post issued the number. Nothing in a …FR number tells Delivengo apart from any other La Poste item, and that doesn't matter: the tracking is the same. The numbers carry a check digit, so one wrong digit makes the number invalid; Peek then takes it for a possible Chronopost number. Copy the number rather than typing it.
Delivengo suivi: what the tracking says
La Poste's tracking has a French page and an English one (laposte.fr/outils/track-a-parcel), and answers in the language you choose. La Poste publishes no list of its tracking wordings with explanations, so the only ones quoted here are those read on its tracking for a number it doesn't have yet:
| La Poste's words | What it means for you |
|---|---|
La Poste est prête à prendre en charge votre envoi. Dès qu'il nous sera confié, vous pourrez suivre son trajet ici. | La Poste has no scan for this number yet: the shop made the label but hasn't dropped the parcel off, or the first scan is late. A mistyped or expired number gets the same message. |
Your tracking is not yet available. If you have dropped off your shipment, the tracking information may be displayed with a delay, please try again later. | The same thing on La Poste's English tracking. |
The shop drops Delivengo parcels at a post office or mail centre in France, and they travel as priority items through La Poste's Roissy hub. What you see after that depends on where you live. The MyDelivengo FAQ lists 45 destinations tracked to delivery, including the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, Norway and every EU country (other La Poste pages say 44). For other countries, tracking stops when the parcel leaves France: the last scan you see is its export, and that's by design.
Delivery and missed deliveries
Who delivers. Your own country's postal service, in its usual round. La Poste says Delivengo parcels are delivered into the letterbox by the destination post's postman, and that beyond the border the local post is responsible for the parcel and for its delivery scan.
If you're out. You're notified that the postman called, and you pick up the parcel at a post office. How long it is held, whether it can be redelivered and whether lockers are offered follow your local post's rules, not La Poste's.
How long it takes. La Poste Pro gives 4 to 6 working days within the EU and 7 to 13 working days elsewhere, as indicative times that can vary. The MyDelivengo FAQ says 3 to 6 days for the main European destinations, Switzerland included.
Customs. Outside the EU, customs duties, local taxes and handling fees are yours to pay, and the post hands the parcel over only once they are paid, unless the shop paid them in advance with La Poste's PDDP option. The shop must warn you that these charges may be asked on delivery. See parcel held at customs.
Delivengo parcel late, stuck or lost
The shop holds the contract with La Poste, so it's the shop that can act.
No update for days. Check your country first: if it isn't on the FAQ's list, La Poste's tracking ends at the French border and the next sign of life may be the parcel itself. If it is, give it the indicative time above before worrying, then ask the shop. Tracking that isn't updating covers the usual reasons.
Lost or damaged. Only the shop can claim, on its MyDelivengo account, from 72 hours after it ordered the label and for up to 6 months; it can ask La Poste's customer service to search for the parcel. Delivengo has no insurance and La Poste pays no compensation for theft, loss or missing tracking, so a refund or a new parcel is between you and the shop.
Returns. Delivengo has no return service once a parcel is delivered: sending an item back follows the shop's own policy. A parcel that can't be delivered goes back to the shop.
Delivengo contact
As read on La Poste's pages on 12 October 2026:
- The shop first. Delivengo's customer service is for business senders only, and its terms forbid shops from passing its details on to private customers.
- La Poste's help from abroad: 0 810 821 821, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 7 pm, €0.06 a minute plus the cost of the call, in English and French, or its online form, open around the clock. La Poste doesn't say this line handles Delivengo parcels.
- Your local post once the parcel is in your country, with the same number.
La Poste warns that it never asks you to pay a supplement or postage to receive a parcel or change its delivery, apart from customs duties and taxes, and that you should never call back a premium-rate number to receive a parcel.
Tracking a Delivengo parcel with Peek
Peek has no Delivengo connection of its own: it tracks these parcels through La Poste's tracking, like any La Poste or Colissimo item. Paste the …FR number and Peek names "La Poste / Colissimo" at once; you can pick "Delivengo" with "Change", and the tracking is the same. A laposte.fr tracking link (also from mydelivengo.laposte.fr) works too.
Peek shows what La Poste publishes: the status, the history with the country of each scan and the expected delivery when La Poste gives one. It leaves out your name and address. Statuses appear in La Poste's French, except a few common ones, such as delivered, which are shown in your language.
When La Poste gives the destination country and it is the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Finland or Ukraine, Peek can also ask that country's postal service, and switches to it once it shows newer progress. Ireland, Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Luxembourg aren't in that list, and La Poste's history can go quiet after export, so the last leg doesn't always show.
Peek checks every 10 minutes, every 2 minutes once the parcel is out for delivery, and its notifications can cover every scan, important steps only or delivery day only.
Questions about Delivengo tracking
What is Delivengo easy?
It's La Poste's international shipping offer for businesses with a French SIRET number sending fewer than 200 parcels a month, for goods up to 2 kg, to more than 190 countries. Larger senders use Delivengo Profil.
Is Delivengo the same as Colissimo?
No, though La Poste sells both and they share its tracking. Delivengo is a separate service for small parcels sent abroad from France, with no insurance and no option such as registered post or proof of receipt.
Can I track a Delivengo parcel to the USA or Canada?
Yes, both are on the list of destinations tracked to delivery, with the same …FR number. For the US, La Poste bills customs duties to the shop and pays them to US customs for items up to USD 800.
Is Delivengo good?
It suits light, low-value items: it is tracked priority post with no insurance and no compensation from La Poste, so any problem is settled with the shop. Tracking to your door depends on your country being on La Poste's list.
