Shein order tracking: carriers, statuses and delays

9 min read

Shein emails you a tracking number as each package ships, and My orders → Track shows the same number, the carrier and the latest status. Most orders fly from China, clear customs and reach you with a local post or courier, so tracking goes quiet at each handover. Each Shein site (US, UK, Canada, Australia, and the European one for Ireland) sets its own delivery times.

Which carrier delivers Shein parcels in your country?

Shein picks it, and you can't swap it: "The system assigns the carrier based on the shipping route and the local delivery network." The Track page names it. Shein's help lists these:

CountryCarriers Shein names
USNone by name: look on the Track page
UKEvri, InPost, Royal Mail, and Yodel for some parcels
IrelandAn Post, GLS, YunExpress
CanadaCanada Post, UniUni, FedEx, DHL, Neighbour Express
AustraliaAustralia Post, Aramex, iMile, HOMEXPRESS

More on who delivers parcels from China: tracking a parcel from China.

  1. SheinPacked and shipped: the email with the tracking number goes out
  2. Flight"In transit to airport", then quiet while it flies
  3. CustomsShein US says clearance generally takes 2–5 days
  4. Local carrierPicks it up after customs, sorts it and delivers
  5. YouDelivered, or waiting at a pick-up point

Where is my Shein tracking number?

In two places:

  • The shipping email. Shein sends it once the order leaves the warehouse. Its European site says the email holds "the name of the shipping company and your tracking number". Check your spam folder too.
  • My orders. On the app or the website, open My orders, pick the order and press Track. You see the delivery method, the carrier and its number. No number yet? Then "your order is still being processed in our warehouse," says Shein.

One order often comes as several packages. Shein splits it when items sit in different warehouses, are briefly out of stock, or would break a weight limit set by customs or the carrier. You get an email as each package ships, and Track lists every package with its own number and estimated delivery. An item in none of them is missing: tell customer service.

A new number can look dead for days: Shein UK says a Royal Mail number works only once Royal Mail has the parcel in the UK, and its Irish help says the same of the local carrier. The order number on your confirmation is Shein's reference, not a tracking number. Where other shops keep theirs: find your tracking number.

A YunExpress number, one of the carriers Shein names for Ireland, is YT and 16 digits, like the made-up YT1234567890123456. Not sure what you have? Type it here:

Type or paste a number, a link or the whole shipping message: Peek names the carrier from the number’s shape.

What do Shein's order statuses mean?

Shein's US help explains each status on the Track page. The UK site uses the same words, except "Arrived at Airport, Ready for Departure":

StatusWhat Shein says it means
"Shipped"The warehouse has processed and shipped your order. Tracking updates as the carrier scans it
"In transit to airport"It has left the warehouse for the departure airport
"Arrived at airport for departure"It waits for screening, loading and a flight
"Prepared for customs clearance"The declaration is being filed. It can show before the parcel lands: customs checks the papers in advance, and the parcel is "still in transit as usual"
"Out for Delivery"Delivery is usually tried that day or shortly after, but not guaranteed today
"Delivered"The carrier marks it delivered. Shein warns this can show up to 48 hours before the parcel arrives

Scans come only at checkpoints, so "Tracking updates can take 3–5 days", says Shein US. Shein Australia expects about 2–4 quiet days in customs and 3–4 on long-haul legs.

An "Expedite" button (US, out for delivery) or "Urge Delivery" (Australia, stalled tracking) on the order asks the carrier to hurry.

How long does Shein delivery take, and what if it's late?

Each site's shipping page gives its times; Track shows each package's estimated date:

SiteStandardExpress
US"77.1% are ≤ 7 business days""79.23% are ≤ 6 business days"
UK5–8 working days4–7 working days
Ireland6–8 business daysNot listed
CanadaA window of datesA window of dates
Australia5–9 business days3–7 business days

UK Click & Collect takes 6–8 working days. Processing can come first: 1–3 days on Shein's European site, 2–4 in Australia. Items marked "Local" or "QuickShip" in the US, or "EU/UK Warehouse" in the UK, can ship from a warehouse closer to you; shipped from a local warehouse explains what changes. Irish parcels often wait in the Netherlands, a hub where they transit or clear customs, says Shein. Why tracking goes quiet for days or changes number: tracking a parcel from China.

Past the latest estimated date, check Track for a customs delay, a failed delivery attempt or a parcel waiting for pickup, then contact customer service, says Shein. Its deadline for a parcel that hasn't arrived: 45 days from the payment date.

Shein's On-Time Delivery makes up for a missed date: 500 SHEIN points in the US, Ireland and Australia, 500 points or a £5 wallet credit in the UK, and a CAD 5 wallet credit in Canada. In the US, UK, Ireland and Canada you select it at checkout. Which options it covers depends on the page: the US, UK and Irish terms say all delivery options and Canada's help says Standard and Express, but the UK and European help pages say Express only.

Customs rarely costs extra:

  • US: "You will never have to pay any additional fees for the order amount at delivery," says Shein, even though the $800 duty-free limit has been suspended since 29 August 2025.
  • UK: Shein says you won't deal with customs, but orders over £160 carry handling fees.
  • Ireland: Shein's checkout total includes import taxes and duties: "You will not be asked to pay any additional import taxes or delivery-related fees before or after your package is delivered."
  • Canada: "all orders to Canada will be delivered duty paid (DDP)", says Shein.
  • Australia: a package over AUD 1,000 may owe a tariff, and you pay it.

What the EU's €3 per item and the €2 handling fee due from 1 November 2026 mean for Ireland, and how to spot a fake fee text: parcels held at customs.

Shein package not received or marked delivered: what to do

Shein gives you 30 days from the delivery date on the tracking page to report a parcel you don't have (45 days in the US). Its help pages follow the same order:

  1. Check the trackingOpen My orders → Track. Look for a failed attempt, a pick-up point, or a delivery photo or signature the courier uploaded.
  2. Look around and askCheck your mailbox, porch, garage and garden, and ask neighbours and anyone at home. Give it 48 hours, then call the carrier with your tracking number.
  3. Report it to SheinIn the US, Canada and Australia, press "Parcel Delivered, Not Received" in My orders if it's there. Otherwise, contact customer service.
  4. Shein reviews itThe button opens a refund-only request. Once you send it, "the relevant department will proceed with the review". Follow it on the refund request page.
  5. Refund or a new parcelExpect a refund rather than a reshipment: Shein US says "reshipment is not supported". Order again if you still want the item.

A parcel sent back to Shein is different: in the US, "Contact Agent" under the "return to sender" scan arranges a reshipment or a refund (returned to sender). Who's responsible for a parcel that never came, and what to keep as evidence: delivered but not received and lost parcels.

Returning a Shein order

A return travels under its own tracking number. Shein keeps the label under My Orders → Returns → Return & Refund Record → Details. Don't send it to the sender's address on the parcel you received: Shein says it isn't the return address. Which carrier takes the return in each country, and when the refund comes: return tracking.

Can I track a Shein parcel in Peek?

Yes, with the carrier's number. Copy it from the shipping email or from Track and paste it into Peek. Peek works out most carriers from the number alone. A shape several carriers share, such as 12 digits, may need you to press "Change" and pick the carrier the Track page names. When the first carrier names the partner taking over, Peek keeps the first carrier's history and follows the partner once its own tracking shows fresh progress.

Each package has its own number, so add each one. The Shein order number isn't a tracking number, and Peek can't track it.

Peek shows what the carrier publishes. A refund request, On-Time Delivery points or a question to customer service stay in your Shein account.
