PcComponentes order tracking: delivery and problems

11 min read

PcComponentes sells computers, components and electronics online from Spain, with sister shops for Portugal, France, Italy, Germany and Belgium. In Spain, whichever delivery agency is available brings your order, and PcComponentes emails you the agency's name and the tracking number when the order leaves. You can also collect at a pickup point or at one of its stores. Outside sellers on its Marketplace ship their own items.

Where does PcComponentes sell and deliver?

Each country has its own shop and help centre: pccomponentes.com for Spain, pccomponentes.pt for Portugal, pccomponentes.fr, pccomponentes.it, pccomponentes.de, and pccomponentes.be for Belgium.

The Spanish shop delivers across Spain, including the Balearic and Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla, and abroad to Andorra, Portugal, France, Italy and Germany. Elsewhere in the EU, Ireland included, you can only order for collection at one of its stores in Spain and hire a carrier yourself. It doesn't ship outside the EU, so not to the UK, the US, Canada or Australia.

The rest of this guide uses Spain as the worked example, with PcComponentes's Spanish labels and a translation.

Which carrier delivers my PcComponentes order?

There's no fixed carrier. PcComponentes uses "diferentes agencias, según disponibilidad" (different agencies, depending on availability), and the shipping email names the one carrying your order. Its Spanish help names only two: GLS for Andorra and Correos, Spain's postal service, for Melilla.

Marketplace orders are, in PcComponentes's words, "vendidos y enviados por vendedores externos" (sold and shipped by outside sellers): each product page says who sells and ships the item. The delivery time shows at checkout and depends on the seller. A confirmed Marketplace order can't be changed or collected in store, and you talk to the seller under "Mensajes" (messages) in your account.

Monitors, TVs, laptops and printers travel in the maker's own box. In some cases the agency asks at the door for a PIN sent to you beforehand; without it, it keeps the parcel. An item too big or heavy to carry in may be left at street level, and you can refuse it for free.

Where is my PcComponentes tracking number?

Look in these places:

  • The shipping email. When the order leaves, PcComponentes emails you a link to follow the delivery, with the agency's name and the number. Before that, it's normal to have neither.
  • Your account. Under "Pedidos, devoluciones y facturas" (orders, returns and invoices), tap "Ver detalle del pedido" (see order details) for the status, the estimated delivery date and the tracking once it's available. Before shipping, the order may show "Pendiente de stock" (awaiting stock), "Sin comunicación a almacén" (not yet sent to the warehouse) or "Pendiente de preparación" (awaiting preparation). PcComponentes has no guest checkout, so every order is in an account.
  • The agency's emails and texts. When the parcel is out for delivery, the agency may send its own link. If it can't deliver, the link sometimes lets you redirect the parcel to a pickup point or authorise a neighbour to take it.
  • One number per shipment. Items from different warehouses arrive separately, each with its own tracking number.

To collect at a pickup point, bring your ID and the tracking code or the purchase reference. For other shops: find your tracking number.

Correos numbers, for Melilla, look like this (the digits are made up): PR, 15 digits and C, as in PR123456789012345C, or 2 letters, 9 digits and ES, as in RR123456785ES. GLS numbers, for Andorra, are a 1 and 9 more digits, as in 1234567890.

Not sure whose number it is? Type it here:

Type or paste a number, a link or the whole shipping message: Peek names the carrier from the number’s shape.

Why is my PcComponentes order late, or why isn't tracking moving?

The order leaves once payment is confirmed. PcComponentes's estimated delivery times:

DestinationDelivery time
Mainland24 working hours after it leaves; "Entrega ECO" (eco delivery) 1 to 3 days
Balearic Islands48 to 72 working hours
Canary IslandsLeaves on Mondays and Thursdays; arrives in Gran Canaria and Tenerife about 3 to 4 days later, on the other islands a day later
Ceuta and Melilla3 to 5 working days, plus customs
Andorra48 working hours
MarketplaceShown at checkout

If the tracking isn't moving, it's usually one of these:

  • It hasn't left yet. If a supplier is late, PcComponentes tells you the new date and you can wait, swap the item or get a refund. An order with assembly shows no tracking until it leaves.
  • Packages are missing. The label says how many there are. Missing ones usually follow within 3 working days.
  • You weren't home. The courier comes back the next working day, two attempts at most. After that, the order goes back to PcComponentes, which refunds you, or the agency may leave it at the nearest official pickup point and tell you. More: missed delivery.
  • Canary Islands. The order goes by sea and the tracking updates when it reaches the islands. Port formalities can stretch the wait to 7 days.
  • An outside seller. The seller's delivery time applies.

To change the address before shipping, the order must be sold and shipped by PcComponentes and not yet in preparation, and the new address must be saved under "Mis Direcciones" (my addresses); then ask customer service. Once shipped, you change it with the agency. More: change the delivery address.

PcComponentes calls the delivery date "una promesa" (a promise): if it misses it and you ask, it refunds the shipping you paid, except for force majeure such as weather or strikes. If you didn't agree on a date, Spanish consumer law gives the shop at most 30 calendar days from the order. When waiting is still normal: why tracking isn't updating.

Delivery options and costs

Each product page says whether it has a shipping cost, and the basket shows the amount once you enter your postcode. Shipping is free from €50, but only on the mainland and on items sold by PcComponentes: not in the islands, Ceuta or Melilla, and not for large appliances or Marketplace items.

At checkout, under "Opciones de entrega" (delivery options), you choose the type of delivery and the day, but not the time. Couriers don't usually call first, except for large appliances and TVs from 65 inches. Tick "Embalaje neutro" (neutral packaging) for a label without PcComponentes's logo and a box without its branded tape.

Pickup point. Choose "Punto de recogida" at checkout to see nearby points. It costs nothing extra. Someone else can collect if you name them under "Datos de recogida" (pickup details); they bring their ID. PcComponentes's terms ask you to collect within 24 hours of the notice. More: parcel lockers and pickup points.

Store pickup. Free. You get an email when the order is ready. Collect within 48 hours to be safe: the help gives you 7 working days, but the terms say 48 hours. Someone else can collect with the QR code from your email.

Large appliances. Delivery is free. Fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and freezers, except built-in models, come with set-up: unpacking, levelling and connecting to water and power where no extra parts are needed. PcComponentes takes away your old equivalent appliance at delivery if it's already disconnected and removed. From a Marketplace seller, free delivery is to street level.

Ceuta, Melilla and Andorra. For Ceuta and Melilla, ask before you order who pays the import declaration and IPSI, the local tax: the help says you do, on delivery; the terms say PcComponentes does. For Andorra, PcComponentes adds export costs from €20.85, and Andorran customs may charge too. In the Canary Islands, the price you see is final. More: customs.

PcComponentes parcel not arrived or marked delivered: what to do

In this order:

  1. Check the trackingOpen the order under "Pedidos, devoluciones y facturas" and the link in the shipping email, and read the agency's emails and texts, including spam. If the order came in several shipments, check each number.
  2. Look around and askLook around your door and ask your household, neighbours and concierge: the agency may have left it at a pickup point or, if you authorised it, with a neighbour. If packages are missing, wait 3 working days.
  3. Contact PcComponentesDo it 72 working hours after the expected date, or if the tracking shows an attempt that didn't happen or says delivered when you don't have it. From the account you ordered with: chat, WhatsApp on 622 600 796, the contact form, or 968 977 977, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 20:00.
  4. IncidentPcComponentes opens an "incidencia" (incident) and checks the delivery with the agency. If the parcel arrived damaged or tampered with, something is missing or it's the wrong item, you open it yourself: in the order, tap "Devolver" (return) and choose the reason, within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  5. Refund or new itemThe incident ends in "un nuevo envío o el reembolso del pedido" (a new shipment or a refund). Spanish consumer law says the shop bears the risk until you, or someone you named who isn't the carrier, has the parcel.

Check the box at the door. PcComponentes asks you to check at delivery that the products match your order and show no visible damage. A dented box doesn't always mean a broken product: open it carefully, and photograph anything that looks wrong. If the delivery damaged the product, tell PcComponentes within 24 hours if you can and 7 days at the latest, with photos of the item and its packaging and the serial number.

You can also refuse the order at the door: it goes back and you're refunded. If you get no solution, ask for a "hoja de reclamaciones" (official complaint form) in a store or online; PcComponentes doesn't take part in consumer arbitration. With an outside seller, write under "Mensajes". More: parcel marked delivered but not received, lost parcel and damaged parcel.

Returning a PcComponentes order

You have 30 calendar days from receiving the order. In the order, tap "Devolver, desistir o usar la garantía" (return, withdraw or use the warranty) > "Devolver o desistir de la compra" (return or withdraw from the purchase), or take it to one of its stores, except large items and Marketplace items.

Returns are free for new and refurbished items. For Marketplace items, check the cost when you request the return: the help says it's free too, but the terms say you pay it. You follow the return under "Historial de devoluciones" (returns history), and once the item is collected, it's usually processed within 3 calendar days, up to 7 in exceptional cases. If the item doesn't work, use the warranty instead. Where the return's tracking number is and when the money arrives: returns tracking.

Can I track a PcComponentes parcel in Peek?

Yes, with the agency's tracking number. Copy it from PcComponentes's shipping email or the agency's messages and paste it into Peek. Peek recognises the Correos numbers above by their shape alone. The GLS shape is shared with other carriers: Peek asks the likely carriers and shows the one that knows the number. If several know it, press "Choose"; if it shows the wrong one, press "Change" and pick the agency the email names. For another agency, paste its number all the same: Peek follows more than 3,500 carriers.

An outside seller's item has its own number only if the seller ships it with tracking. If a parcel changes carrier on the way and the first carrier names the one taking over, Peek keeps the history from the start and follows the new carrier. The PcComponentes order number isn't a tracking number: Peek can't follow it.

Peek shows what the carrier publishes. Incidents, refunds and returns stay in your PcComponentes account.
